If bodene wasnt hurt, Ben would have got 15 mins. Bodene took it up once last week, yet got the spot again,

It is hard to defend Potter.

I've been screaming for him to start for ages. we have to play him for big minutes. He is a most damaging runner of the ball.

If we don't look after him he will be another Ben teo.

under Sheens he wilted…. these days he is finding his feet finally. Maybe the slow and steady approach is working, he has developed quite nicely. Method to the madness possibly.

Method to the madness? He has barely been given any game time and is on the outer. He has been killing it at state cup level, yet sits on the bench while Thompson and even braith freaking anasta have played in the back row.

If Bodene 'one hit up' thompson didnt't get hurt warming up, Ben doesn't even play much tonight.

ball main is right, if we don't give a full time starting spot he is gone. He will be a stud at the right club. Fittler was raving about him.

I have been defending him all year, he was great tonight. Big, strong and powerful. I really think he doesn't know how good he can be.

He's been lazy in the past but his work rate was very good tonight, as was his defence.

With good halves who will get him one on one against smaller defenders, he will be a superstar.

That was his best game ever.

Shame we lost. We had enough go forward otherwise for our halfs to have no excuses.

I think he plays really well when he is running it up in tight. Maybe he is also better on the left hand side.

Whatever the case he is definitely at this point one of our best forwards.

He was awesome in attack but that has never been his problem.

His problems have always been
1\. His hands were woeful - tonight his hands were better but he still knocked on from dummy half when we had the opportunity to score (although to be fair Mannah was offside as part of a terrible terrible reffing display)

2\. He has always been lazy in defence - Well he was still very lazy in defence tonight he played almost 80 minutes and still only made 14 tackles for the match - Sue made just as many in 20 mins. You might say he didn't miss tackles but by not getting involved in defence it means others have to make more tackles

Still his best game tonight but needs to work harder

True Boon, but he also needs gametime to get fit. He is the same as Fifita was 2 years ago. I.e. carrying too much weight. If he can shed the kilos like Fifita did and get rock hard fit, he will be a monster.

i;ve thought he has made slight improvement this year and last week felt he was on his own in regard to playing a physical game against the titans.
and for that alone thought he deserved the starting spot instead of bodene.

another team selection by potter that has me scratching my head.

BMM and Junior Paulo the hardest running forwards on the paddock last night. If Ben's not starting next week will further confirm Potter's lost it!

BUT HOW DO U ONLY GET 15 -20 MIN OTHER WEEKS THEN LAST NIGHT PLAYS THE WHOLE GAME , CANT WORK THAT OUT , WOULD HAVE BEEN MORE DANGEROUS HAD HE BEEN GIVEN A BREAK I GUESS.

I think it showed why he doesn't get big minutes. He was cramping midway through the second half.

He's definately an affective player. He just can't manage to play too many minutes at this stage.
