Luch isnt the issue, our entire Defence is an issue.

Teams roll through the centre easily and then flick it out wide for the score almost every game

Luch is a major issue for us. He can’t play 80mins and he doesn’t hold his position in defense. He comes infield more often than he should and gets found out quickly. He also stands back rather than come forward when defending which then creates a problem with AD and the center due to how much space is left for them to cover.

Agree, he either needs to come off around the 25 minute mark for a break, or comes off the bench as a strike player. The lack of football for Tuilagi and Blore is the other isssue Madge needs to contend with as none of our backrowers have 80 minutes in them.

I wonder if there is any merit in shifting Talau onto an edge as he's mobile and fit?

I think Talau would be a very solid backrower if give. A season to bulk up and fill into the role.

Re Blore and Tuilagi they need to be played, if we are serious about there development and position moving forward as part of the nrl pathways with our injuries they have to get a run.

Letting them waste away with any footy for the next 8 weeks would be dumb and set them back.

Blore has really gone off the boil don’t know if he has an injury or whatever but it’s becoming a real concern.

Talau needs to learn how to het his hands dirty.
He has no tackling technique.
On current form he would be a liability in the forwards.
Needs time in lower grades ……

I agree. No way would I move him there today why said give him a season to fill out in that role. Was more at Reggies than 1sts.

LL has been sensational this season...but he is badly burnt out. Two really poor efforts on the goal line tonight, little impact with the ball.

Madge has played him way too many mins IMO.

He should be playing Jason Taumulolo mins...not 80 a week.

He means a lot to us going forward...let's not burn him out.

Thoughts?

If I think of WT having a competitive/successful side, Luch is used as a game wrecking attacking threat coming off the bench.
In this dream we need to find another starting edge backrower who can set and control the edge defensively.
