Heard on 2GB an other media outlets that Tim Sheens wants some big props, where are they going to come from??? They dont grow on trees??? Whom do you think is going to replace Heigho next year??? Any thoughts from anyone???? Anybody got any good oil on this one????
 
There are a few around. Josh Miller, Ben Cross, Learoyd Lahrs. Not sure who he would be chasing, but they are around..
 
Sheens has a love affair with Shillington (prematurely picked him in OZ etc), so hed be an obvious target, but theres no way we could afford him. If Rose is searching around hed be another target, as would Josh miller, or martin kennedy even
 
A couple of the St. George younger brigade are being looked at I believe. The lure is not so much the money but a starting place in first grade.

I must admit that I do not know much about the Saints reserve grade or bench players.
 
maybe trent merrin could be an option stuck behind weyman and hunt

justin poore could come cheap as well but he could turn out to be a cayless all over again
 
It's the day for rumours isn't it.

Again same source as the Dugan rumour (ABC) that the Tigers have made polite enquiries abour Shane Shackleton (apologies for the spelling if its wrong). Apparently the Eels are looking to off-load him?

That would be right another <big>bloody RANGA</big>, if you have more than one they will take over !
 
ok we need big props who can go forward but that will need help if sheens continues to turn them back into the markers all the time, plus we should not be replacing heigho with a prop.
 
Martin Kennedy is a big prop , should come reasonably cheap

Martin Kennedy would definitely NOT be cheap. He's worth more than Fifita that's for sure.

Read in RLW about Ray Cashmere and my eyes lit up. Dude is 31, started late so would likely have more years left in him. Has been slaying the ESL (a softer league) for years now. He'd probably last til he's 36 and he's very big… he also said he wants back to Sydney, and he is a Maggies junior. If Sheens is looking for a big front rower, then there's one that will walk back into the fold with absolutely no hassle. Throw him $150K and he'll come to the party I reckon.

Ray Chashmere…... I hope if we go external we go better than Cashmere

I think the big props he is turning to are Groat, Bergovich, and BMM

they would be mad if they flicked Fifita to buy cashmere

Yeah and, ironically, he's the one playing Origin next week! I'd take him in a heartbeat and TLL, too, if he's available.
