Thank you teddy, and you too SG. I am impressed that someone like Barbs wants to join us even considering all his baggage.

I don't get it, culture wise, but I trust in Ivan.
And I still want RTS for 2019, and Cleary for 2020\. Roosters, Storm, Broncos or Sharks could afford it, why not us.

Why wouldn't he want to join us? He's been through about 7 different clubs and a couple of codes so he's hardly a fussy bloke…

Going by SG clues
A big signing / Barba is small
No half clues /not a halfback
BACK in the days
FULL clues / it's a fullback
A game changer / code hopper?
A tall fullback from Union
Ideally IZZY
Or maybe Curtis Rona
Goal kicker as well
 
I think it is SG's final straw for some people on this forum. Hopefully for everyone's sake he gets it right!!
 
Of note, Israel Falou's contract expires in 2018 and he has taken a sabatical from Rugby - did not tour with the Wallabies.

Barba now - more useful for our chances in 2018 - than:entering into bidding wars for more preferred options that may never eventuate.
If legit - he strengthens a position we have a question mark over now - and we can still target players for next year.
If you dont rate him then naturally I wouldnt expect you to agree.
 
No I get it.
Taking a punt on Barba now means we won't be fighting for him or any other solid fullback when we are desperate for one.
Who knows what kind of interest he strikes up if he continue to lights it's up in ESL

This comment from the OP himself makes me think that I can put the house on it being Barba. Not upset with that, but would prefer Izzy.
 
Only one game changer I can think of… Cam smith? Could he want out of melb? Hes done it all there.. time to move on maybe.. Gives Liddle time to mature?
