Barba was killing it before he was exiled and he is killing it now after his ban.
He would be a good player for us and provide some playmaking ability from fullback.
As long as he's kept on a tight leash by the playing group, I'm cool with it.

The correlation between Gordon & Barba being that we were chasing Gordon during the off season, he may be a bit older than Barba but they are both standing at the end of a cul-de-sac without a GPS.
We could have picked up Barba cheap as chips last year when he was begging for an NRL contract, why the sudden interest now when his manager has been pumping his mates at the Daily Telegraph to put him on a pedestal after an above average game in the old dart.
Barba has been weened onto baked beans, fried egg and hot chips for breakfast, he won’t be able to stomach Skippy Cornflakes.

I remember in 2016 Flan had Barbs coming off the bench as a super sub for the first part of the year. In a lot of those games it was pretty even at half time then Barba would come on and carve up. Val also was in peak form.
Maybe Cleary might use him off the bench.
If it plays out that way. Marsters could do a small stint in the backrow. The attack in the second half with LoLo, Barba, ect in the outside backs could cause a lot of havoc to opposition defences

Everyone does it different and I suppose they have their reasons.
I dont see a problem in naming the player in this scenario, but there are other scenarios where I wouldnt.
Most importantly, I would never give out a source. [unless I have had too much wine]

If it is Barba .. he's season overseas finishes mid season or so (NRL season Rd8 or 9) so he could looking to slot in around then…but its depending if the NRL will allow his registration in time for 2018 .. hence 2019 .. ??
