WELL WE ALL KNOW HOW MUCH WE HAVE LET DOWN BEFORE, and the fact only one person on here claims to know about this signing, makes me feel somewhat , well u all know. if this mystery player has signed at least let us know some details back or forward, local or o/seas player. or will next week come and go and we got no signing at all. or has teddy or woods realize the errors of there ways and want to come home.

It’s not Barba specifically, we could be signing any fullback and he’d be against it. Russell is deeply in love with Tui Lolohea.

What do you mean? It’s pretty much what was done for the majaority of last season.

Barba now - more useful for our chances in 2018 - than:entering into bidding wars for more preferred options that may never eventuate.
If legit - he strengthens a position we have a question mark over now - and we can still target players for next year.
If you dont rate him then naturally I wouldnt expect you to agree.

The signing is for 2019.

If this pans out the way the Tigers want and the NRL approve the move back, then it will be for this year. That's a big IF though.

I am against signing another full back because we already have a very good one - with the x-factor and he can defend.

We don't need a boofhead (loose cannon off the field) who cannot defend to save his life.

As for suggestions that we could play Tui in the centre - don't think so (it is a specialist position and he has very little experience playing in the centre and we don't have time to train him up once the season starts.

Obviously you cannot say you like a player on here - otherwise your deemed to be in love with them.

Whilst I am not overly excited if it is Barba, he has played in a losing grand final, played in a premiership winning team, and won a Dally M for best player in the NRL, quite a lot more than Tui has achieved.
