@citizen cub said:Although Lui wasn't a loss to the club's reputation, he was a loss to the team itself. Having seen many replays of games throughout the previous two seasons, **the coordination, functionality and coherence of the attacking unit was contrasting to that our attacking unit at the moment**. It's no coincidence our attacking potency and organisation has dropped somewhat since Lui's departure.
I like Tommy Humble, he's versatile, defends well and gives his all every time he dons the jersey, but Lui's organisational skills, agility, speed, kicking game, intent to take on the line, ability to spot holes etc. are undoubtebly better than Humble's. Let's not play silly buggers here, we were far more potent with Lui at halfback, than we are with Tom. Anybody who doubts this are seriously misinformed. Tom should be playing at fullback and Moltz at halfback.
It's just such a shame Lui chose to behave he did, not once, but twice. All the resources the club throws at him and he essentially spits in their face, go figure. As a footballer, he was classy, the same can't be said about his off field exploits.
