Bit of a raw deal with the scheduling for rounds 1-3

We've got a six-day break until our next game on Sunday, but then we have to play the Eels the following Friday, which is only a five-day break. Wasn't there a rule that if you play on a Sunday you can't play the following Friday? Although we do get a nine-day break before taking on the Raiders in round four.

What goes around comes around, all teams will have to deal with it throughout the season, I think the rule your thinking of is that if you play on Monday you can't then play on Friday…

Really its only 12-18 hrs difference with the Sunday afternoon to Friday night situation, they should be able to handle it at this level.

First 3 at the SFS. BRILLIANT! No travel! Who cares about the shortish turnaround.
I said it in a previous post. If we get up v manly and the crowd goes ballistic then we will take games 2 & 3 as well.

We did go off last night and the fightback was critical because now we know that nothing is impossible.

Part 1 of my prophecy has come true. These will be the next 2 results!
vs Chooks - 34 - 22 WIN
vs Slipperies - 26 - 20 WIN

Triserratops & the crystal ball.

Shower or two and a top of 23 on Sunday, thankfully, so heat should not be a factor. The other two are night games. We play 3 games in 12 days - will pass judgement after the Parra game. If we're flat, we have an 'excuse', if we're hot, we have a 'reason'.
First 3 at SFS is like 3 home games in a row.

If Lote can play a game 5 days after getting off a plane and after 7 years playing union im sure any professional outfit can handle playing 5 days after the previous game. Only question is….are we a professional outfit???

Weather is not looking kind to us on Sunday afternoon. They are predicting a top of 29 in the city with late shower/thunderstorm. Thankfully, Parra play Manly at 2pm on Sundaytoo, so we will both have the same conditions this weekend and same preparation time leading into the round 3 clash.

The Tigers had a similar schedule last season if I recall, with 3 games in 12 days or something like that. Honestly though, Folkes has the team fitter this year, and last year we had to travel to NQ to play, we don't this time around. It just means the preparation at training is shorter and a bit more emphasis is placed on recovery and feeling fresh for the next game.
