He looked to be in a lot of pain. When sam reached the sideline near the tunnel, one of the Broncos staff gave him a high 5, to which Sam replied with his injured arm, he screamed in pain not realising which arm he'd used. Needless to say spectators and Wests officials nearby burst out in laughter.
@TigersFan4Life said:How about Benny Elias kicking a field goal after five minutes in a game at Leichhardt against the Broncos in the late '80s? Tigers led 1-0, and after the Broncos scored a try out wide ten minutes later it was 4-1! But the Tigers went on to score four unanswered tries to win 25-4, I think. I was at that game and the "Wally's a wanker" chants were coming thick and fast.

The maggies were playing the gold coast in the ellery hanley days.
The match was played in heavy rain and the ground was covered in water.
.Wests had scored an eight point try after Keith Colwell
had jumped on Wayne Simmons back after he had scored a try.
scores were pretty close and the chargers had forced a goal line dropout. It was pretty obvious by the state of the field that the dropout was going to be a challenge.
Graham Mckay took the dropout and of course the ball plugged and it didn't go the ten metres.Another way to lose a game.Peter Benson kicked the goal and it was a 12- 12 result.
I never understood why the referee didn't take a different spot for the kick to be taken from- like they do with casual water in golf.
Anyway, something that has stuck in my mind .Is there any provision in the rules for the ball to be moved?
I don't think there is actually but I totally agree They can do it from general play with penalties and scrums
That reminds me of Noel Crusher Cleal in an Origin game back in 84 I think it was
Crushers gone to take the line drop out and the ball hasn't gone 3 metres
C'mon all you NSW supporters you must remember the game Wally Lewis puts up the magical chip kick strategically aimed at the cross bar which drops downs to that try machine (and worlds sexiest footballer) Greg Dowling who plunges over for another Qld win
@Goose said:The most bizarre thing ive seen is in a game (at any level) was in a junior game i was playing, 2 opposition players started fighting with each other, given we were attacking their try line, all there players got back to defend and our players were asking do we break it up?? we let them keep going.
It wasn't till we scored, about 3 plays later that there team mates finally broke it up, by that stage they had done some serious damage to each other, an unbelievable incident!
