Blair's best performance

Credit where credit is due. Blair had a real dig last night. Dented the line in attack and put in some good effort and shots in defence. Came off after 20mins heaving in the big ones, exactly what a starting front rower should be doing. Big Ava came on and continued the good work.

Best game I've seen them both play in a WT jersey. Maybe Blair has seen the clean out begin!

I have to be honest and say I think he has played well all year when he has played in the centre as opposed to on the edge. Last night though he did look like he was really effective and also without the ball he continued to really do the little things right. I have also been impressed with his passing game the last few weeks a couple of offloads but also passing before the line which soe. May criticise but it always seems to put the next guy in a better position so to me that's when you should pass. Plus a few times last night at the ground you could see him directing the defensive line really making sure his teammates were in the right position (and no not when people went through it).

Maybe he is happy about the clean out and the players that are leaving because it means we will have a more professional culture like he experienced at melbourne

Ran hard and used great footwork, wish he played like that all the time

He does for the most part that's the thing. He's a very skillful player whose probably not worth the money he's on but well done to he and his manager for getting that for him.

Our best forward today. Did an awesome 1on1 tackle on friend. Needs to stay in the middle.

Might see him in the kiwi squad back

His best game was against Melbourne in Melbourne… Put on some big hits, scrambled well in defence and made some good meters.

In the last few weeks, and last night, I think he is starting to realise what Potter wants him to do each week and I'd say we may see more improvement till the end of the year.

He's a prop, come into his own last few weeks. I can see why he got the praise he was getting within the club.

Put him on prop rotation when keify returns i reckon. Well, not next week since big red will obviously come off the bench.

Fair to say that Adam's form the past 6 weeks has been great. Last night was up there as his best in a Tigers jumper. Never discount a champion player. His back was against the wall earlier this season but he knuckled down and has now fought his way into some good form. Really pleased for him. Never wanted to lose faith in him.

our sets improve when he takes a run. always puts us on the front foot.

if only he would do that more regularly

A forward who thrived on structure starting to excel under a coach who wants structure.

Seems about right

that's the reason why I thought he'd do really well this season. That and that a lot of players take a season to adjust to a new club. Although I guess, he's really moved twice. First to Sheens Tigers and now the structured potter tigers.

Happy to keep him at the club if he can have games like that 80% of the time he plays. Still not overjoyed about paying him 500k, but i'd rather him play like that for 500k than not at all and we pay him out.

He's been our best forward the last 2 months.
I think he's in for a big year next year as long as he stays at prop in a structured team.

How pleasing a thread on Adam Blair with only one mention of reportedly how much he earns , played very well and think more of the same will come .

ive been his biggest critic since he arrived… Last night and against storm are the only games I think he's put in... I hope he can keelp it up cause last night he'd have given any opposition a good smashing and I hope to see it every week... Not just every 2 months. Well done Blair.

Yep, first spell was excellent - inspirational even!

Then after that (like most of his team mates) the intensity dropped away. The whole forward pack need to learn how to maintain the enthusiasm even when fatigued.

Best on park.
Could even see Galloway starting with Blair bringing that impact off the bench. Cause I see Galloway as a good solid starting prop.
What do you guys think maybe he can be the impact?

Most impressed, would live to see the impact continue,

Agree with Blair off the bench when Galloway is back, need some starch off the bench.

At this stage in our season and club development, I'm all for players improving each week - lots of them are going backwards.

Mind you Blair is improving from a 4/10, but up is up.
