I posted in this thread about 20 minutes before you and am now just carrying on with the conversation as it flows. Seriously, whats your issue with people replying to each other on a forum like this?

I comment in plenty of threads, you are not my focus. You don't enter into my thought process when I come here.

I could have just as easily been replying to steve-o or Happy Tiger who also commented on the 10 page length. But you single yourself out as special, why do you feel that way? Its not healthy.

So lets put a stop to it, what do you say? If you feel victimised because someone replied in "your thread", PM a mod. Don't contnually allude to some sort of non existent agenda.

C'mon you are always seem to be attacking someone LaT

You were getting skirty at me the other day for having a go at you

Goes both ways I guess

Can you honestly agree with Axl that me commenting about a 10 page thread, after you and steve-o had done the same, was somehow an attack on this guy? It just screams persecution complex to always cry when I voice an opinion in the same vicinity as him. Its sad.

And I wasn't having a go at you, at least not in the way you are intimating. You were going pretty hard on a topic that seems to rub you the wrong way. I'll openly admit to doing the same thing, I try to limit/cutback though, I certainly don't hold myself as some sort of model poster thats for sure.

Plus you have to remember that just because someone disagrees with you, and voices that opinion, doesn't automatically mean they are attacking you, wouldn't you agree Happy?

Sorry thought you would smell the sarcasm even from down there LaT

Happy….youre comparing Austen to probably the best halfback in the world right now

unfair

No I was comparing DCE to where they were at similar stages of their careers

Don't worry ,I didn't see where DCE would be in such a short period of time either

I just don't see the same drive or the look in his eye that DCE has or had

Hope I've got it as wrong as I had it with him as well

They cant all be numero uno….and we are WTs dont forget...so that wont ever be the case

I know one thing, if we're hoping he's gonna play a role in our team improving next year I wouldnt hold my breath. I hate to say it again and I really try to be positive but I just cant see us going anywhere next year with the squad we will have. Im up for surprises though.

What I'm most looking forward to is Austin's toughness, and although it may sound counterintuitive, some conservativeness. In the last few years, Benji was passing way too much - it was always his fall back plan. If the play didn't go right, he'd just throw the ball even if it wasn't on, most of the time the ball going to ground or ending up in Row 10\. Moltzen was the same at 7 - didn't want to get touched. Austin takes the line on and isnt afraid to get tackled. Sirro was great at this too, hence his move to the back row.

I've said it before, but Austin reminds me so much of Kieran Foran. I'm hoping he'll be that stabiliser in the halves that we need.

Hi ALEX

No disrespect but if Austin is as tough as foran
I would doubt panthers would of let him go ??

What choice did they have? Why would he stay behind Soward. They set his future in stone when they signed Soward for 4 years.

Panthers let Jennings go didn't they?

Austin was on quite a good deal according to the media:
http://www.smh.com.au/rugby-league/league-news/panthers-splash-out-700000-on-rising-star-20120303-1u9mw.html

Being let go is probably a combination of things, having signed Soward/Wallace, clean out of large contracted players, and likely a lack of Austin immediately reaching expected potential for the money he was on.

Gee I wonder what we are paying him?
