Good call, teams are finding themselves in trouble with unexpected concussion injuries to the backs, forcing a major reshuffle. The backline is not a place where you can chop and change the structure.

I haven't the time to check this out myself, but I wouldn't be surprised if lots of teams have gone on to concede lots of points after a key concussion in the backs.

Ourselves we've already seen Fulton lopped Rd 1 that initiated a dramatic change in fortunes, Souths undone Rd 3 with Inglis off (and ourselves with Simona, conceding 12 pts in last 5 mins), Teddy off this week.
 
Austin was MOM last week and I hope he gets a run - but it should be at 5/8 and unless Anasta gets injured I doubt he'll get a call up. Fine is in the centres for reserve grade this year and the coach has big wraps on him, he went well last year too playing back row I think?

He would be my choice for centre replacement if Teddy is out and re-shuffle is on the cards. In fact he'd probably be better than Lawrence at this point.

x 2 . given a decent go, i think mr T would be a sensation in first gde. if injuries disruot the tigers i reckon asipeli fine instead of austin would go ok as well. but definately chris lawrence to the bench ….. for state cup !!

Although he has plenty of potential, he is simply not ready. Already this year has failed to aim up in defence to try and stop tries, he simply won't commit to the tackles or attempt to try and stop the ball from hitting the chalk. this was evident on the weekend also.
 
come on his gotta be in first grade. His confidence and side step like brad fittler alone warrant it… And He was chewing gum the whole game
 
I've watched nearly every game he has played since his signing was announced.

Carried the Wolves into the GF and I doubt our form state cup team would have won a game without him.

I have it on pretty good authority that he his very annoyed at being overlooked. He put a lot of work in the off season. To his credit he has not let this affect his effort.

Anasta has gone ok this year but I think Austin would do better. I'd swap him for Lawrence without a doubt.
