Blake Aysford - Broken Hand??

Several points are mentioned which are nothing more then hearsay. I certainly can't confirm them.

It is claimed that Sheens was instructed to drop Fizty from above.

Fitzy was very unhappy to be dropped as he expected more loyalty.

Sheens forced to drop his man then planned to only use 16 man in retalliation.

Daniella being 17th man didnt get on the field despite injury to Ashford.

Im sure some of the so called insiders on this site would probably know the truth.

You just can't believe any of this tripe.

As if Sheens would risk losing a game by only playing 16 players - simply because he did not like a management decision. It is ludicrous to even suggest it. Love him or hate him, Tim Sheens wants to win football games and he will make sure the team is in the best position to do that (being his opinion of course).

I would also be surprised if Sheens was forced to drop Fitzhenry in the first place. I am confident it was Sheens decision, as he has seen that Fitzhenry is not up to the grade at the moment. I think Fitz has always been picked on the basis that his experience makes him valuable to the team, rather than his ability. I don't think Sheens would try and prove that Fitzhenry is a better player than people that have been left out, but he would rather say that his experience counts for something - which is hard to argue with.

Um, Sheens played with 16 players against Newcastle in 2007 as a way to basically say up yours to Ben Jeffery.

And that was a game where our season was on the line. So I wouldn't put it past him.

You are still making an assumption, nothing more.

even if he is able to play his confidence will still be shot as he would be very careful when going in to make tackles..it would be safe to let him have a rest for the week and daniela to start in the centres

I see height as a problem if Daniella were to play this week to be honest.

His defensive style has been much improved and a joy to watch but Best is a smart operator, knows how to position his body for contact and still get an arm free against smaller defenders.

It is my only concern in the matchup but if Geoff plays I am sure he will give it everything

I haven't claimed anything mate, just making a point r.e Sheens deliberately only using 16 players. He has done it before so no reason to suggest that he wouldn't/couldn't do it again.

Whether or not this is what happened with Daniela is unknown.

Hybrid …Sheens has been useing 16 players practically all YEAR.....

Why because it was Daniela's turn last week ...makes it a Jeffrey.....Please...

Geo, I never said it was. I said it potentially could have been, that is all.

Well, he has. That is all I am saying.

Well I don't deny that Sheens does it on purpose, obviously it is not a 'mistake' but I don't think the reason for only using 16 is to get revenge on someone he has had a disagreement with.
