But yes, have noticed that - he seems to be a confidence player, and needs to cement a position and he'll re-find his top form, and confidence.

I still have chills remembering the intercept try against the rooster in 2010, and my personal favourite - shrugging off a lazy Jarred Hayne Tackle and sprinting 50 metres to score against Parra last year.

He's even said that on Twitter - being moved around all the time is unsettling.

If he trains well and Potter sticks with him at centre, he'll be back to his best. :sign:
 
Blake is WTs Souths…when Blake goes well, WTs goes well

If hes going well hes getting good ball, therefore the halves are comfortable and must be on the back of some good go forward from the pigs

Maybe it's the other way around - when the team is going well then so does he.
Have always liked Ayshford but at times last year he seemed disinterested.
Like a lot of other players he seemed lost - hopefully Potter will play everyone in their correct positions this year and the players can really settle into their attacking and defensive responsibilities.
 
He scored or was put through a lot by Lui. I think his play suffered just as much as Benji's coz of Lui's absence.

Blake was somewhat a victim of lack of opportunity last year…
We quickly forget we didn't have a halfback last year.
That being said, his body language was woeful!!
even being dropped didn't give him the hunger back.
Here's hoping he is a little more settled in '13

Altho he may not have got as good ball, this is no reason for his defence and discipline, he gave away so much possession and penalties last year, as well as missing too many tackles.

He was very good in 2010/11, however the lack of a half back does not mitigate all of the disapointment for Blake in 2012
 
With a really solid 2011, you could almost say Blake had a "2nd year syndrome" in 2012, despite not being his actual 2nd year.

Blake had mitigating circumstances for a poor year as you point out but also on the penalties I would say the majority of them were always late in the count. I'm looking forward to not only Aysh but the other disappointing players this year going under Potter next year.

Can't wait to see him play next year, lets hope Potter realises Utai and Lote are holding back our young talents like Nofoaluama and don't resign Lote. Lets hope Potter selects

Sorry ink but I don't see how BM96 is being impatient? That is the 1-5 that me and a lot of other people want to see come round 1, 2013\. I realise tedesco is coming back from a severe injury and nofoaluma hasn't played first grade but it is a very exciting and potentially successful backline. Also, with lawrence and ayshford there (hopefully finding his 2011 form) it brings stability and experience. I feel as though this is the best mix of youth and experience and pending pre-season training and trial form would be my 1-5\. I also wouldn't mind seeing utai on one wing with koro as he deserves a spot somewhere in the 17 after this year.
 
3/5ths of that backline have virtually no experience….you cannot lump rookies all together, Ayshford is hardly the cool talking calming experienced NRL type....Lawrence is...we will have a rookie half as well, Benji needs to be allowed to focus on what he does....some other experience in the backs is vital.
When we are under the pump and scrambling defending our line...experience is invaluable
You blokes forget these players are going virtually nowadays from flegg to nrl....I know with your maturity you wont have a clue waht that means, I understand you want everything now or yesterday and patience in only something you find with doctors.
