@king sirro said:@smeghead said:Blake has at least 3 months of State Cup football next year to get his fitness and confidence up before he is even considered for an NRL slot.
He is a much better half than Moltzen in regard to organising a structure and I feel that is where he would best serve the side in the future.
Lui has talent but lets be realistic he has yet to prove himself regardless of his natural ability.
I agree. And if he even plays first grade at all next year it will be a massive achievement.
I know people are giving him wraps, but thats just putting false hope onto those who havent seen him which will lead to Blake being unfairly criticised when he doesnt excell staright away. He's about 18 months of solid football away from reaching anywhere near his potential. 2 knee reconstrucions in 2 years is a massive hurdle, we should be saying nothing about Blake other than good luck and take your time mate, listen to your body and be patient.
@Marshall_magic said:I think Lazarus should start out in Premier League next year. By the time Round 1 rolls around it will have been almost 2 years since he's played a competitive game of football, Reggies will help him ease his way back. I'd start the season with Hanbury or Mullaney at the back.

I disagree there have been plenty of players make it from nyc to nrl and be a success. Have a look!
I like the NYC Comp and I think it is good for the game imo!

@alex said:Lazarus is described as fullback/halfback.
Seeing as Moltzen has had nearly a full season at fullback would it make sense to try Lazarus at halfback and keep Moltzen at FB? Or did Lazarus show more at FB than Moltzen?
