Blame us, not Taylor: Tigers players

"That's a bit of vision that's cut up," he said. "We do the same thing every week - Jason comes in and has his word and then the assistant coaches say their part."

A still image of a split second, and some accompanying text from someone with an agenda can make things look a lot different to how they really are

Pure inspiration from coach Taylor at half-time.

i think its pretty clear that if the coach ever looks at the ground or a piece of paper he's holding while someone else is talking then he's just given up on life

Sorry but milone, Lovett and bucanan if fit were/would all be picked by this genius coach!
No accountability, that's your coach….
Jobs for the boys, same #### different smell!
**And I forgot the players should motivate themselves because the coach doesn't.**

****

Players at NRL level shouldn't need the coach to motivate them. If they need motivating every game they shouldn't be playing at this level.

Bingo. The money and the love for the game should be enough of a motivator.

Rubbish, rugby league is a hard mental game to get up for each week! It is as much mental as it is physical.
Any descent coach will tell u that, any!
Your coach is meant to there to manage all of this, teach u to prepare for the game and motivate you!
Otherwise what's the point of having a coach???
Just to put out the witches hats???

Broom the place.

The only ones worth feeding are Lawrence, Woods and Tedesco.

would add simona to this this three player list, otherwise would have no objections to a massive clean out at all.

Jeez, Kev Naiqama hasn't done a lot wrong and puts in every game. He seems to have been playing injured a fair bit the last month or so. As for the rest of the rust that makes up our playing roster…...kick the crap out of it until it falls off.

The quicker we can put the last 16 years behind us (bar 1), the better.

The players should have to donate their match payments from last weekend to the forum for alcohol to numb us up to this constant underperformance of our club who we put our heart and soul into every week, every year.

at the tigers they might be

every sport has motivational speakers and speeches all the time. players rev each other up, as do coaches

Let's also remember the Raiders had more reasons to be up for this game then almost any other team or game in the comp

1.Raiders copped a flogging the week before
2\. Ricky absolutely gave it to his team in public the week before
3\. Raiders were at home
4\. It was old boys weekend for the Raiders including the whole original raiders team in the rooms before the game and ex-raiders everywhere
5\. ANZAC day in a city which is full of defence personal many of whom were also at the game supporting the raiders

On the other hand the Tigers
1\. Away from home
2\. Golden Point loss and big come down from it last week
3\. 5 close losses in a row which gets exhausting
4\. Missing their captain and star front rower against a big team

But Boonboon no amount of factors can excuse getting belted by 50.
Especially when you consider our blokes had just listened to the Last Post, a sacred piece of music thats evokes emotion, courage, pride and commitment to your mates in time of need and we proceeded to let them score two of the easiest tries imaginable within 4 or so minutes of the start. To me that is players lacking a whole lot of intestinal fortitude and that is totally unacceptable and should not be tolerated or accepted.
