Bleak times ahead..?

I think all teams (to varying degrees) go through a rough patch in their season, usually tethered to the strength of their roster.
Benji doesn’t go from a candidate for coach of the year to “let’s sack him” status overnight.
The last month has proven (being Captain Obvious) our roster needs improving.
Let’s hope our rough patch is just about done and the team can get back to how we were playing the first couple of months. A dose of luck will be required.

Probably because old mother Hubbard's cupboard is bare X, hesitating with the young fellas because they're not ready, this is probably correct Benji has not hesitated before if he thought they could handle 1st grade.

Moving Turuva back there only weakens the outside backs, man I hope Bula has recovered after the bye.
No Mason man. Tired of playing with 12 players. Weakens the Soul and Spirit

Can't disagree with that mate, big players just slap him aside as if he's a boy, all these bloody injuries if Bula not ready I have no idea what Benji's going to do.

Never been so relieved to get the bye so we don't get another flogging.

Said this yesterday, fill the team with bigger players, there was too many small guys that were trampled over in that game.

Even if we have to pick young guys, just need more size, Skelton and Makasini would be a good start.

............It's clear (now) that the early form we experienced earlier on was built on shaky foundations................

It was clear long before now.
Its been ad lib all along

Once Origin is done the serious stuff starts to happen...we have a pretty tough run despite dogs and drags both twice
I think I predicted 10th back in Feb....might be lucky to get that high

Yeah I thought 10th and will be happy with that, but looking shaky.

I think we are four good players away still away from a solid top eight team, winger or two, centre (Makasini) and two forwards. (Hopefully Roberts can develop 🤞)

However, we have some up coming games we can certainly win, for starters if we don't beat the Dogs and the Titans we're gone.

I think we overachieved early. There’s many teams who struggled early and have now got the hang of the new season. Looking at the ladder, we are probably where we should be with the squad. Storm will continue to climb. Raiders and broncs will always be one win away from a run too.

Yes we have players coming back in dribs and drabs. Can benji turn around our confidence?

If bronx beat wahs we will drop to 11th
We were 3rd on the table 3 weeks ago plus our for & against has been smashed to bits
we're now in the minus after having plus almost 100
We need troops back ASAP otherwise the further we dig ourselves into this hole the harder it will be to get out of it

I’ll say it again, API’s suspension the most impactful I have ever seen. For a try saver gone slightly wrong.

I think you’re right, the dogs game might be make or break for us this year. Titans we should win and panthers we should lose but if we can get up over the dogs while they’re low on confidence and we’re low on troops it’ll be a big morale boost I expect. Fingers crossed they end up having to rest critta after origin and maybe even Preston/Mann/Burton as well

To be honest - I'd rather play bulldogs full strength. Critta - he playing Origin? Team picked already?

What's been the coaching death nell this year:
Flanagan
SIebold
Obrien was gone before the year started.

If we don't make the top 10 then Marshall should be next.
