Blocker is one of the worst commentators to listen to, he’s living in the 1980’s constantly gets players names wrong and spits out some absolute rubbish 😂 he’s a good bloke and has some great stories but he’s no commentator

I haven’t watched the Johns podcast, but I’ve heard people like him there. It seems more up his ally. As an analyst he’s terrible. Captain obvious most of the time.

The only place he gets any love that I see is this forum. Understandable, considering so many ex Balmain supporters. But to the general RL public, he’s a joke.

Is there anything I could come back with that you would accept as an acceptable response? I’m apart of 3 Supercoch pages on Facebook and any time he calls a game, they get flooded with posts with people laughing at him. That’s what my original comment that you replied to was based on. I’m not expecting to change your mind, just stating what I see.

He’s much better on the podcast where he can just sit down and chat about stuff and tell stories and that kinda stuff

I'm not fussed what you say TBH, or whether it's 'acceptable' or not.
Just stating a fact that Blocker is rated by many in and around the game, that's why he is still around and hasn't gone the way of Gasnier, Belcher etc.
That holds a bit more weight than what jokers on a Facebook page think.

Great. I don’t begrudge anyone for liking him. I don’t expect people to not like him cos I don’t. Further to what you were saying about what carries weight, then I guess we shouldn’t complain about guys like Ennis and Bwaith for the same reasons. I mean, if you’re going to be consistent.

As much as Ennis and Bwaith are complete floggers, they have played at the highest level. Most of the Facebookers might be lucky to have played Origin on the PS4. Totally different comparisons to make.
