Blocker's Back...

This thread is a load of bollocks.

if it wasnt for Balmain I wouldnt support the WT's.

Why do I have to forget everything that happened before WT's to go foward with the WT's.

I say embrace our past.As long as it doesnt divide.

Blocker was one of our best and loves the tigers, and has a media presence….I'm all for it.

And Id be happy with Tommy,Noel Kelly,Siro.....anyone who played for our former clubs and can help us move forward im happy to have them on....these guys are legends and deserve some respect.

Your post is a load of bollocks.

No one has said you have to forget your memories..they are yours and your suggestion is impossible and ludicrous (surprise surprise)

Stop being a such bloody drama queen

Just when you thought the club was starting to make some good off-field decisions. What's wrong with Skando, Hodgo or Buckets? Hell even Darren Senter.

Think Skando and Fulton are employed by the Club in a similar role…

Ur such a grotty little troll…..

I'm all for club legends of both side of the ledger coming back in roles like this but Blocker's been here before and it won't take long before he says something cringe worthy and creates another foot in mouth moment. Some of his comments in the media in recent times have been poor.

Maybe he has been told,"if you work for us here is a set of rules to abide by"..

Hopefully he will be able to be a lot more tactful and professional for this new gig…

Come on guys,no need to be spiteful,we are one remember the past…embrace the future...

Hopefully we can converse face to face at the get together in a well mannered and courteous way.....JT will be impressed with his fan base and supporters of this great club...

I have had my say on this topic earlier.....but having mentioned Balmain which was the club I lived for.....Iam also proud that JT was a Maggies player and now he is coaching our team..

If we all take the blinkers off....we have a perfect mix of knowledge and talent from both sides of the JV......let's enjoy it.....

Ive met Ink several times and we are always courteous and polite!

He comes across as a Wayne Kerr online but in person he is a good fellow.

Now as for me….that's a different story!

Simon, i'm actually surprised you'd even still like Blocker after the away he gave it to Farah publicly considering how special your feelings towards our Captain are and how protective you are whenever anyone ever criticizes him.

Blocker is one of the greatest players I have ever seen…..heart and soul a tiger.

I didnt like his comments re farah, but his 200 odd games for us, and his play for NSW and Oz im prepared to forgive him.

Simon,Ink is a champion bloke who I only have conversed with through private messaging,we are meeting for the first time at the get together on Saturday, and Iam looking very much forward to it…he has offered to help and will be there early to assist me...
I would dearly love it if you were to come....I love meeting people and having a chat...I also love a challenge and organising this event for forum members has been a bit challenging but good old TT has come through with flying colours, hopefully a fair few WTF members will come on in to the function and make themselves known to each other...getting JT there is a sign of how persistent TT is.....

What happens on the field (forum) stays on the field (forum)
Its all friendly banter

Hehe some of you need to get a room, lol

I can't make it to the get together but xoxoxo's all round

I can't get their either, but do want to know whether Ink looks like grumpy cat, Smeg like Barney the dinosaur and Crouching Tiger dances in a Spider-Man suit. I also hope Underdog can get there after he swaps the gold statue with a bag of sand and outruns a massive boulder.

Hope everyone has a great time!!

Since he is doing 'ambassadorial' work (ie schmoozing up to people and meeting with sponsors) I don't see why everyone's panties are in such a knot.

Being in the media for the past two decades, as well as having the profile he does, this role suits someone like blocker to a tee.

Same reason Terry Lamb is an ambassador for the doggies, or Roycie for the panthers. It's what these old knockabouts do best.

Let's see how he does in the new role before crucifying him.

I don't think anyone is disagreeing with your comments. People are more worried about him putting down the joint venture in lieu of being the Balmain Tigers old boy.
