BMM your thoughts ??

I have seen him be lazy in defense a few times.

With the ball in habd he is a gun,and he is pretty fast for a big guy….and a try poacher to boot.

If he fixes the defense IMO he is a a potential gun.

Agree simon.
He is still developing, a work in progress….people are talking about him like hes arrived, I actually think 2014 will be his year.
Sheens had a terrible record developing these type players
Will play for the Kiwis at some stage

What is Sheens getting the blame for now? :unamused: Whattya mean by "these type players"? Can you elaborate

I got a visit yesterday (Sunday 16th) at my work! I work at Kmart Ashfield was the door greeter and getting bored as usual when all of the sudden BMM walks in. He looks at me and I go sup (the sup nod) as he was busy with his partner. He looks backs and replies back with the sup nod as well!
Go BMM carve them up big time in 2013!

IMHO..hasn't got it..and never will get to the top level with us or other NRL team..same as many that have come from over the ditch..got the potential talent..but not the drive, work ethic or attitude to go to the next level

I am going to bookmark this.

IMO BMM could be anything and has all the talent in the world to succeed. To say he hasn't got it is absolutely ridiculous and even pathetic.

There is a lot of competition at Wests Tigers this year for a 2nd row spot. Only the best will get the nod. Each of the contenders will need to be at the best to win a spot. Best wishes to all of them including BMM.

The Jeff Limas, Bronson Harrisons,Ryan O"Haras,Ryan Tandys,Corey Paynes .The guys who look like nobodies when they leave and become instant somebodies at another club

He reminds me of Arthur when he arrived at Balmain. Very young and similiar build and stature. Ben has lost heaps of weight and Arthur packed on heaps(at Balmain) but I swear I am watching a young Arthur when I see the back of Ben taking on the line. The way he moves, with the ball always ready for an offload or in a split second puts on the afterburners and silently declares to the oposition Stop Me…. The way he stands in tackles waiting to offload.Yes I am comparing him to a very young AB. He is way beyond his years already and IMO could be anything if given the opportunity.

Time will tell Hybrid.. Happy to wait until end of 2014 to be proved wrong… Or right

after 15 minutes we need to bring him on and Let Braith anasta control him and feed him ball , have him running constantly wide he will always cause havoc , he is wasted doing standard settles and alot of D . Remember when WILLIE mason was a rookie Braith Anasta use to feed him at smaller blokes all game ???

Tell us how you know he has not got the drive or work ethics to make it?
You base this on what Snow?

And what exactly do you mean by ''the top level"…thats fairly vague....hes a regular first grader atm....that could be construed as ''the top level"

The Jeff Limas, Bronson Harrisons,Ryan O"Haras,Ryan Tandys,Corey Paynes .The guys who look like nobodies when they leave and become instant somebodies at another club

Jeff Lima: Went on to have a successful few years at Storm.
Bronson Harrison: Was a decent player for WT, went to Canberra and had 1 great year and from then on has been pretty ordinary.
Ryan O'hara: Did nothing after he left WT as far as I can recall - which club did he even go to?
Ryan Tandy: Played pretty well for the Dogs but is more remembered for his TAB exploits while there than his footy
Corey Payne: Has been playing well for Dogs, but to be fair they have a far better pack of forwards to help him out than what WT ever had while he was here.

So I can't really see where Sheens had such a bad record with "these type of players" TBH, none of them have turned into world-beaters after they left our club.
Sheens had done a pretty good job of bringing on players such as Woods and Dwyer before he got injured (as well as Koro in the backline), I don't really think he can be held responsible for every bad turn that our club has taken.

BBM in a leg brace wars doing there ????

I seen BMM last night and he looked fit and ready to go. Real nice guy and very down to earth. He had a chat with us and pretty much answered any questions we threw at him.

Youve just said yourself theyve all improved after leaving so your shooting your own argument in the foot, good to see you come to your senses and reached agreeance

Im talking about a specific type player…...you mention one that sheens had success with, mention a prop as well as a winger....finding it hard to follow?

Sounds good,
So what did he have to say Tigertown.

He said that its been very different under potter and his been tough stamping his authority on the team and players. Farah's contract talk are looking good. And the boys are pumped for a big year in 2013

 Yeah….sure I have. Ryan Ohara, as I said, where did he even go after he left-do you know??? I havent got the foggiest idea so I for sure didn't say he improved :unamused:
Jeff Lima "went on", it is just a figure of speech in case you didn't know. Ok I will re-phrase it for you. He "went off" and had a successful few years at the Storm: (albeit in a team that was illegally assembled by rorting the salary cap.)
Bronson Harrison had 1 good year, (didn't really play any better than when he was with us TBH) and from then on has nearly disappeared completely. So I definitely didn't say he has improved after leaving WT.

"I am talking about a specific type player" you said. Well we aren't mind readers so what exactly are you talking about???...an islander? A bloke with a hyphenated surname? A 2nd rower? A bloke coming on from the bench?
Please be more specific when you are apparently being specific.

So do you think Sheens did a good job with Woods and Dwyer? I noticed you conveniently skipped that little part. :deadhorse:
