Agree simon.
He is still developing, a work in progress….people are talking about him like hes arrived, I actually think 2014 will be his year.
**Sheens had a terrible record developing these type players**
Will play for the Kiwis at some stage

What is Sheens getting the blame for now? :unamused: Whattya mean by "these type players"? Can you elaborate

Jeff Lima: **Went on** to have a successful few years at Storm.
Bronson Harrison: Was a decent player for WT, went to Canberra **and had 1 great year** and from then on has been pretty ordinary.
Ryan O'hara: Did nothing after he left WT as far as I can recall - which club did he even go to?
Ryan Tandy: Played pretty well for the Dogs but is more remembered for his TAB exploits while there than his footy
Corey Payne: Has been playing well for Dogs, but to be fair they have a far better pack of forwards to help him out than what WT ever had while he was here.

So I can't really see where Sheens had such a bad record with "these type of players" TBH, none of them have turned into world-beaters after they left our club.
Sheens had done a pretty good job of bringing on players such as Woods and Dwyer before he got injured (as well as Koro in the backline), I don't really think he can be held responsible for every bad turn that our club has taken.

**Youve just said yourself theyve all improved after leaving** so your shooting your own argument in the foot, good to see you come to your senses and reached agreeance

Im talking about a specific type player…...you mention one that sheens had success with, mention a prop as well as a winger....finding it hard to follow?

 Yeah….sure I have. Ryan Ohara, **as I said, where did he even go after he left-do you know??? I havent got the foggiest idea so I for sure didn't say he improved** :unamused:
Jeff Lima "went on", it is just a figure of speech in case you didn't know. Ok I will re-phrase it for you. He "went off" and had a successful few years at the Storm: (albeit in a team that was illegally assembled by rorting the salary cap.)
Bronson Harrison had 1 good year, (didn't really play any better than when he was with us TBH) and from then on has nearly disappeared completely. So I definitely didn't say he has improved after leaving WT.

"I am talking about a specific type player" you said. Well we aren't mind readers so what exactly are you talking about???...an islander? A bloke with a hyphenated surname? A 2nd rower? A bloke coming on from the bench?
Please be more specific when you are apparently being specific.

So do you think Sheens did a good job with Woods and Dwyer? I noticed you conveniently skipped that little part. :deadhorse:

Celtic Crusaders

Not as bad as people like to make out, just wasn't one of Sheens boys. In the latter part of 08 when he got some games under his belt he was one of our better players…..believe it or not :astonished:

And Lima won a premiership so yeah

Face it…Sheens has a woeful record with **_backrowers._**...thats what were talking about, it took someone else to point it out for you....I guess it had to be done seeing as you started mentioning props and wingers too

You dont need to be a mind reader to put 2 & 2 together...plenty of others in the thread got the gist of my point....it was pretty obvious Id have thought...I'll try and simplify, be clearer for you in future

February 1865 is the only month in recorded history not to have a full moon.

Now I just have to hope I get that question as the million dollar question when I'm on "Who wants to be a Millionaire" :roll

Lets hope Potter can utilize his bench better than Sheens and if BMM doesn't start he gets solid minutes

Then again I can't see Potter picking wingers on the bench either

Yeah fair enough that is where he ended up. Thanks for that coz I would not have had a clue to be honest .
Hardly had his name up in lights when he left WT as some would have you believe.

I still can't really see what anyone has pointed out. Your statement was pretty vague…anyone can interpret what they want with it.
If your argument was "backrowers" then what about Dwyer? Sheens is gone , get over your Glenn Close- like fixation with the bloke, i'm not even sure he owns a rabbit

Showed us some of his attributes much more this year. I'd have him coming off the bench after 15-20mins and use him as a wrecking ball close to the line as an edge back rower or lock.

Next season we could possibly have Miller, Farah, Anasta, Benji, Moltzen/Tedesco, and Sironen on the field at the same time, who are all excellent ball players. As well as Fulton, Lawrence and Ayshford who have spent time in the halves.

He could be an absolute weapon, if Potter has a few trick shots up his sleeve. The opposition will have no idea when or who is going to be the guy giving him the ball, or how their gunna do it.

He just needs to work on his fitness. He can get lazy and go missing at times in defence.

While he is on the field, say for a max. 20 mins, keep him fully involved and I am sure that he won't get lazy or missing in defence.

He needed to get more time to build up his fitness. Remember the game against Parra he was unstoppable inside the 20 and should be used to great effect next season. We have to get him to step up for Ellis as do many others but he was missing a lot last year when the going got tough.

Bring on 2013!

February 1865 is the only month in recorded history not to have a full moon.

Not true see link
\
\
Long answer:

First, you have to keep in mind that the month of a full moon depends on your time zone, so it could happen that there are two full moons in a month in London but not in San Francisco, or vice versa. (For instance, if a full moon occurs at 6 AM UT on December 1 in London, it occurs in San Francisco at 10 PM PST on November 30.) I'll use Universal Time for the following calculations.

Here are the months of February between 1900 and 2099 without a full moon:
1934
1961
1999
2018
2037
2067
2094

It's not common, but it's not all that rare.

The next month with two full moons is December 2009\. See
http://aa.usno.navy.mil/data/docs/MoonPh…

The reason for this is that the average time between full moons is 29.53 days (with variations of a few hours). All months except February have more than 29.53 days, so they can have two full moons in the same month. February always has less than 29.53 days, so it can have zero full moons. (It's unusual for a February in leap year to have zero full moons, but that can happen also.)

Anywaaay…. my thoughts on BMM?

Like most, I was disappointed in him this year. In regards to his attack, with Benji at 7 they didn't seem to hit it off like before. Hopefully with Benji back in the #6 and playing a little wider their timing and placement in attack will be back to its best.
