This guy has been the biggest surprise of all for me this season.
He has absolutely boomed into a vital part of our backrow. Not flashy but really vital to our pack.
Onya Bodene!

I agree but I didn't think he was that good tonight.

Really? Terrible attempt on Tagatese for their first try, but was very strong besides that.

That miss was really poor though. To be fair I think he was tired. Potter plays his backrowers most of the game.

Yeh i agree it was a poor miss. Ava also missed him.

Ava was the problem with the Tagatese tackle. That was a terrible miss.

And some, he had only been on for a few minutes, but I would have still considered hooking him. The initial miss was bad enough, but his attempt when he went back to help hold him up, was even worse.

Taga is strong. But that was embarrassing. Avas a big boy and should've been able to hold him up. Especially with help.

But other than that, Bodene had a solid game. Couple of good runs with the signature Maori step aswell.

Who got motm? Anyone know?

Wasn't really a fan of this guy… under Sheens.
Had him in the same basket as Pettybourne, didn't rate 'em.
However, he's been really good this year and has defo grown on me.
Keep up the good work buddy, you're killing it!!

Thompson was out for a huge amount of time ,before the injury he showed huge promise it has just taken time for him to hit his straps again.
Defiantly worth another contract but that said I suppose the big picture comes to play with others vying for the same position.

He plays a vital role for the Tigers. Very busy, keeps the tempo and go forward up. Has a good motor and hits hard. Not as hard as Ellis did..but still hard.

Ellis was one of the best payers to ever pull on a wests tigers jumper….thompson is in a different league. But he is doing his job week in week out.

Last year, I found it hard to understand why we signed him. His improved performance this year has been a big contributor to the improvement of our forward pack. He must be in line for a contract extension.
