Bold Predictions 2023

sure, we get 6 points from the 3 byes, but so do all the other teams. 🤣
After last years Cowboys game, I never take any points as ours. We will probably be the first team in history to lose a bye round.
Bold Prediction…something will happen when the WTs are having the bye weekend off. Laurie & Noffa will think it’s a good idea to pants V’landers..and the NRL will deducted all bye round points from the Tigers.

I was reading an article recently about the prophecies of Nostradamus and how he has predicted Harry to become the next King etc...then it bounced off the iPad at me! slightly cryptic but the words ā€œMarshallā€ , ā€œreignā€, and ā€œterrorā€stood out like beach balls.
Only the WT's could bring on the Apocalypse

It's a pity we couldn't have all our byes to start the year off, that way we would be on top of the ladder after three rounds. Take a photo then go home 🤣
Not sure if this is still true but I read an article 2-3 years back that we have never held top position after any completed round in our history.

Regardless, even the byes are unlikely to give us top position as our +/- would be 0

Oh you spoilsport you! 🤣
Well next year rewrites the history books.

Penrith to remain benchmark.
Manly and Canterbury to fizz.
NRL board member to resign.
Referee controversies every round.
Tigers to surprise.
And the Wests Tigers Forum to remain the best place on the internet for footy fun and goss.
I forgot about the officials. No doubt the "Bunker Debacles" will be in the media for all the wrong reasons and linesman will have they eyes painted on.
I starting googling for NRL rule changes in 2023 when I came across what I thought was a perfect site.
The article was confusing and half way through reading the first page it spoke about when shooting from 1000m, it was at that point that i realised I was reading NRL22 rifle shooting rules 🤣.
I give up....has anyone found new rules for 2023?

If it was true 2-3 years back, I can’t see how it would have changed in recent times.
That’s a horrible stat after 23 years of competition lol..

On the competition or the club?

Canberra to miss the 8

Cronulla to go close if not make the GF

Us Top 10 with current roster

Penrith almost unbeatable again

Rookie of the Year : Ronald Volkman

Volkman from the Warriors?? Is he that talented?
If he gets enough game time he is a big shot

Not a great deal of talent coming through really in 2023 ...the kid from Penrith won't get enough game time to win the Rookie award ...same goes for Wong at the Roosters

Just my humble old opinion

I watched some of his highlights from season 22 and him kicking on the last tackle almost got taken out a few times and I think teams will pressure him more in 23 and go after him even more someone like Radley will take his legs out just a matter of time

Yeah interesting theory.
Let’s hope that’s wrong. Hate to see a young gun taken out illegally and suffer that injury.

What's the rookie award criteria, U24?
If Pole gets a lot of game time, what about him? He's only 20 I think.
