Boring Melbourne?

I'm at a loss as to why it takes us so long to click every season whereas Melbourne switch it on from round one. All this time I thought it was Belly ache, but it's occurred to me that Melbourne is boring & Melbourne players having nothing else to do but think about football, where is in Sydney there's too many distractions for our players. Finally we've clicked, finally we've seen Tim Sheens plans come to fruition. Imagine not being able to beat Melbourne without the big 3\. If I was rich I'd be putting $50 grand on Wests when in Melbourne. When in Rome….. ala Melbourne.

Haha I wouldnt class Melbourne as boring…its a pretty cool city actually.

I think the team are so well prepared that they hit their straps right from the opening round. I thought this would be the year that we could do likewise but alas....The Storm also suffer a little slump most years and this year it looks to be when we are on the improve. We will get them next week if everyone in our side can replicate their personal performances from tonight.

Knowing our luck, NSW will take Gal and Woods as well as Farah and with Ellis still out that will provide a massive hurdle to victory down there.

like all other wests-tigers fans, I would dearly like to see wests-tigers start the season in a very good way, similar to storm. win games early, and build on that.

this year has not been the case, **but no doubt we all would very pleased with the way it is improving at the moment**.

We won in round 1 like Melbourne.

Only difference we lost our fullback after 30 min if things were the other way round and Melbourne lose their fullback for the season I am confident things would be very different.

A lucky 1 point win is not ''clicking from the start"
Its taken us 8 or 9 weeks from the start of the year to find our groove.

Theres more to a team and footy than just the score

I don't think we have yet hit our straps. One try that I thought brought us closer to the top is the pass from benji for fulton to score against Raiders. I can't wait to see Lawrence, BMM, Aysh do the same soon. When everyone is performing at their peak, that's when we will hit our straps.

The comp this year is veryyyyyy competitive. any team in the top 8 can win. we will need to be at our best to get a sniff even at the grand final.
