OFFICIAL BOXING DISCUSSION

He was one of my favorite boxers. His jab was probably the best I've seen.
It was so quick for a big man and it was flicked out like a rattlesnake strike with so much venom that it made his opponent reel backwards.
No many boxers can jab that hard that it sends you backwards.
What an awesome record he had too.

Ali and Holmes are my favourite boxers from that period.
Even now in his 70's, as he demonstrated some of his strokes, I was impressed with the speed of his jab, and after that, it is all elementary mass*acceleration physics!

Has anyone seen the Mike Tyson: Undisputed Truth doco on Foxtel...showing now.
Even if you hate boxing I think you should watch this to get understanding of how life is like growning up as a black fella in some rough parts of America.
I always had a reservered opinion of Mike. He really is the epitome of a loose cannon.
This doco is more of a stand up comedian reliving his life.
It shows the lighter side and the emotional side of Mike Tyson.
He is charismatic and could sell sand to to an Arab or ice to an Eskimo.
He convinces you he is nothing but nice.
He does talk about the rape case that saw him serve jail time, which he still to this day denies....before you judge you have to watch the doco.
He conveniently omitted the pre Lennox Lewis fight comment when he told Lewis, "I want your heart, I want to eat his chi****n." and dances around the Hollyfield ear snack.
These brain explosions were explained in the doco.
The verdict:
My outright hate for this great boxer is now more of an understanding and tolerable opinion.
*Warning*
There are a lot of F words in the doco.

There's a little card on TV tonight..

My mate Vegas Larfield is on the card.

And a dude from my area named Stevan Ivic (heavyweight) his sister is married to Aku Uate.

Doesn't match up well with the footy but a few prospects on the card for any interested.

SBW is fighting Mark Hunt. Hunt was one of my favorite fighters. The dude had awesome skills.

I have a mate who has done some interviews with MMA fighters and he told me Hunt was difficult to deal with.

I assume SBW wins but I'd give him no chance if Hunt was younger.

SBW lost my respect not fighting
Gal, he's been ducking him forever.

Really like Sonny but I can't respect his decision to fight a coked up-
long retired ex-fighter in Hunt.

Ruiz v Wilder & Usyk v Fury
Are the fights I want to see 🤝

The Australian fights are jokes aren't they.

Robert Whitaker is no joke though. He is a top tier fighter who has been doing it for a long time.

We have some top level grapplers as well. Craig Jones is one of the best pound for pound grapplers in the world. He is a beast. He pulls dudes legs off. Lachlan Giles is good as well.

Check out some of the photos here:- https://www.bjj-spot.com/craig-jones-the-best-australian-grappler/
