Can't believe people would even be bothered watching these 2 pensioners.

Mundine is a smart operator cause he runs his mouth which draws people to pubs and it sells pay TV.
Really this should be a Charity fight cause these pensioner's aren't worth the Millions they got for last night.
But if your Mundine and can anger Australian's by saying your sitting down during the Anthem well there's more people that are going to rock up to Pubs.
He copied what the 49's quarterback did.

Spot on FT. Most of Mundine's actions and words are just copying what other athlete's have done in the past, he much spend a lot of his spare time studying what other people have said or done previously. It's both cringeworthy and funny.
90% of his quotes are direct re-hashes of phrases Muhammed Ali trotted out 50 years ago. He tries so hard to model himself on Ali and imitate him, see's himself as some sort of righteous warrior for his people, when in all reality Ali would have classed Mundine as an "Uncle Tom" who happily played along with the "white man's" rules until he was in a position (both financially and to create exposure for his own benefit) to pretend he was anti-authority and stood steadfastly for a cause. If he was so intent on not acknowledging Advance Australia Fair, why didn't he refuse to stand when it was played before his other fights or before the Grand Finals he played in during his RL career? He only makes threats to boycott the anthem nowadays because it is the trendy thing to do, ie that egotistical tosser Colin Kaepernick from the 49ers.

41 and 43 arent pensioners.

In a combat sport, it is.
No fighter is anything near his peak by that age, it is just a cash grab by that stage.

Yes and no…men have won legit world titles at around this age. Boxing isnt necessarily a young mans sport. Last night doesnt really prove my point much though.

Absolutely FTB totally agree.

Someone's actions says more about a person and if he did sit down during the Anthem well his a peanut cause some Indigenous people I work with were disgusted by his action he was going to take….not sure whether he went through with it.
Let's just keep teaching our next generation to continue the hate and divide us all.
Sitting down during our National Anthem is the lowest disrespect you can give any Country in the World unless obviously you have a disability that doesn't allow you to stand and acknowledge an Anthem.

Apparently they sang the anthem before Green and Mundine made their way to the ring to avoid any disrespectful scenes from Mundine. I didn't watch it, did Jessica Mauboy sing the anthem? Choc being an African American wannabe would of preferred it to be Jay Z, Drake or one of those types of floggers instead.

Rupert was not happy with the number of Live Streams on Facebook..

Foxtel rang up one of the guys streaming it and he put the call on loud speaker so the streamers could hear it… Fox asked him to take it down, and he said "but 90,000 people will be disappointed"... then fox threatened to sue and so he took it down
LOL

So much for being young and free huh. Foxtel are parasites. They also tried pushing their weight around with their crusade on banning access to pirating websites which has been an unmitigated disaster

If the two guys pocketed $5mill each, would the promoters have made money?
Small crowd and I'd imagine small pay per view audience.

Luckily I did not see any of the undercard but the reaction I witnessed at the Club there seemed no disappointment at ll with the main bout. There was still plenty of emotion both sides. I would go to a re-match.

My boxer mate said that maybe Mundine did not see the referee interfering when landing that supposedly cheap shot. Looking at video replay that it quite possible.

Your boxer mate is wrong. Choco knew exactly what he was doing. It was an opportunistic dog shot and he didnt hesitate to take it because he is a dog person.

What I don't understand is that Mundine was so lucky not have been disqualified but he still complains that he was robbed.

I checked the video out about 4 times and looking at the angles and where the three persons are situated I don't think it can be clearly established. Maybe that is why the ref did not disqualify him. Well Choc ends his career on that controversy well then what a way to go. Green deserved it for ruining a good fight.
