Green looked fat, unfit and totally out of his depth. How much that had to do with the early dog shot is hard to gauge. A rematch would see Green beat by TKO in my opinion. Mundine ruined his own career by moving down in weight. He is much stronger and takes a better punch with weight on. Miguel Cotto used to get knocked down all the time and look out on his feet until he moved up in weight. At first i thought "he will get knocked out against bigger guys" but the extra weight he had made him so much stronger. Its the same with Mundine i think.

Green is finished.

Given he nearly floored him with it, I'd say a fair bit.

I do agree that Green should give it away now. I think he had the mindset that he'd dominate simply by being heavier. He fell away after the fifth round.

Mundine, on the foul shot that concussed Green in the first round: **"Basically, he was being a [This word has been automatically removed]. I wanted to fight, to engage, and all he wanted to do was to hold**." http://www.msn.com/en-au/sport/more-sports/comment-danny-green-suffered-bleeding-on-the-brain-against-anthony-mundine-and-yet-they-let-the-fight-go-on/ar-AAmNwGX?li=AAabC8j&ocid=spartanntp

Still doesnt excuse the cheap shot though Byron, regardless of if Green was holding all the time or not. It was a cowardly punch. Hopefully both of these tools head quietly into retirement though I'm sure Mundine will still come out in the media often in retirement and say outlandish crap in a desperate attempt to stay in the headlines.

Anyone who gets caught up in religion (or some other silly belief) when they are already adult don't expect too much in the top paddock from them. Mundine is one of them. So similarly to great footballers who get into trouble off field I generally ignore their silliness and just judge them on their achievements. Maybe he got his big mouth after being held up by police accusing him of knocking off the new car that was a prize by a footie sponsor.

Gee whiz I was super hoping the Philippines side was joining for a tri-series.

Schnozz looks pumped.

Probably sick of people asking him who he is

Noice.

I heard Marina is really looking forward to the upcoming Floyd Mayweather fight.

Damn I thought he was the selector….now we are stuck with Loz and the 6 Fullback ploy...

I had not heard of this guy until seen recently but has got the excitement level up in the UK.

Well he is the undefeated heavyweight boxing champion. Plus a gold medalist.

It is the way he has done it, 18 KOs in professional career against journeymen etc.. then fight stoppage against Wladimir Klitschko. A lot of the KOs seemed to be stopped early before damage could be done but left his opposition unhappy.

Interesting he isn't more well known. His bout with Klitscho at Wembley was amazing. Crowd, fight, spectacle.
Imo it is he and Klitscho (still) then daylight. Joseph Parker has a lot of work to get to his standard and I think Deontay Wilder is one of the luckiest men ever to be world champ.
Its a shame that McGregor v Mayweather is all people really know because there is one of the best ever in Golovkin right now who has been invincible. Fighting Canelo Alvarez soon and that should be huge.
Should be….

He beat Charles Martin. It's not like he flew under the radar.

Who is Charles Martin? Never heard of him.

He was the heavyweight champion of the world until he fought Joshua. I checked with him - he says he's never heard of you either!
