Brad Fittler attacks Aaron Woods

Just because someone has made mistakes themselves doesn't mean they can't have an opinion.

Woods lunch with the Dogs was at least careless and unprofessional, at worst it was arrogant and a slap in the face for the Tigers.

Ever think that he migh be playing exactly where Cleary wants him to be on the field ?
Or do you have a copy of the game plan

He has been doing it all year… I noticed it last year first when Aloia was copping a bit of stick on here, and noticed Josh's numbers were low but he was directly running at Hargreaves all game that week.

Im not taking away from Woods metres, they cannot be denied, they are a fact. But big metres arent the be all and end all of a props game. Momentum, and condensing the big bodies around the ruck are duties he cannot be shirking. You can check the game yourself, and you will see it.

I live in Bulldogs central, watched the game with some blue and white diehard mates, and asked them to watch him for a few specific tendencies, and they all were stunned when they noticed the make-up of his workload. It would be polite to say they are spewing he may go there, and were making fun of him everytime he had ball in hand once they caught onto his play. Unless you specifically watch his work compared to Ava, Grant and Aloiai, that you realise why the numbers are so skewed toward Woods.

I like Fittler but I always find it amusing when some of these explayers are quick to be outraged while convienently forgeting their own off field misdemeanors at around the same age.

Whats that got to do with this? Doing something silly when young and on the drink has nothing to do with making a sober decision as a club captain to openly dog your team.

That's right.

Didnt see any dogging his team today after his lunch during the week? 218 metres and 64 minutes no other forward came close.
Alot of what comes out of Woods mouth is unimpressive and who he meets for lunch is of little consequence if he plays like that for the team.
Its up to the coach and the players if they feel that he should have the captaincy. taken off him and if that time comes so be it
But I can guarantee if he was found drunk outside a police station he wouldnt be selected this week let alone captain.

Woods effort today give the best answer to 'doubting Thomas' on this forum, MOM, in the direct confrontation he outplayed some of his best peers: Klammer, Graham, Tolman, Kassiano etc.
So after a fashion campaign, fantasy leaguers decided they have the right to control where/who a player meet? Talking about totalitarian SJWs or what ?
And then, a bunch of ex players with serious drinking/drug problems are suddenly full of moral virtues, Johns bros & Fittler ?? Give me a break.
Go Tigers :sign:

Matthew Johns trying to hold the moral high ground in regards to anything is laughable.
The so-called ringleader of the gangbang Sharkies who was pictured wailing like a toddler and whisked his wife away to the tropics to weasel his way out of trouble…. good work Matty, or Reg.

What a joke that man of the match decision was. He went pretty well, and maybe Fittlers spray, Johns spray, Finchs spray and the fans disgust in him spurred him on, but ET was the man today in my opinion.

Lawrence, Brooks and Nofo were all great today as well.

Woods didn't outplay graham.
Woods runs were all to the edges none straight up the guts.

Jeepers. You need to study the game more.

Total troll Willow - check out his/her comments in the live game thread.

I've been one of his biggest critics concerning him being soft , and it doesn't bother me too much that he's leaving, but he did stick it to the inbred morons who were booing yesterday..it's fine to want him gone, but I'd rather have seen him for awhile under Clearys coaching, to see how he went, I just hope his replacement is good ,
I think woods and Cleary and Teddy handled yesterday extremely well.
I'm starting to really like the way that Cleary handles things
