Braith Anasta charged

Perfect time to make your Wests Tigers debut too in my opinion. Against the cows at Campbelltown. Can expect some wafer thin defence at some stage during the 80 mins in which he can show his stuff. Especially if the pigs fire once more.

Yep blessing in disguise. Austin has been on fire in nsw cup and deserves his chance. Simona to fullback, Noffo to centre and bring Koroibete back on the wing.

So Anasta is looking at spending more time on the sideline than all the Souths players who hit our boys in the head constantly a couple weeks ago, more than DCE for kneeing Fulton in the head, etc etc etc.

Gotta love the consistency of the judiciary! :unamused:

hmmmmmm last year I would have been happy seeing Bratih miss some games, but I have to say he hasn't been bad this year and it's good to have expierence other then Farah and Fulton there isn't anyone else out there older

yeah makes no sense at all

Not that Anasta has been completely hopeless, he's played alright, but we'll get to see Austin and hopefully he'll take this chance and play well.

There was eff all in it and a penalty was awarded, so that should have been enough, especially when compared to the swinging arm fest that Tedesco has been subjected.

I am all for Blake getting a shot to prove himself, but would prefer it not to be when we have lost Teddy as well and are up against a big and mobile pack that will really test his defence. He is a gun at NSW Cup level and has played a bit of top grade without setting the world on fire. It is a big step to the NRL, but he is looking fit and went well in the trials.

Hoping that he can cut the mustard, assuming that Potter selects him, though Anasta has been okay and would have been my choice against the cows.

Anasta has done his job very effectively this year. Austin will bring something different, but at this point in time I would prefer minimal changes

You know the beauty of this year is we have a fair amount of depth considering sirro, Moltz, now teddy and Anasta we are still going to be able to bring a first grade quality in Austin, koro, lulia we even have Rowe to blood, these players as opposed to meaney and the like of years gone by.

Austin get his chance. Good luck to the young man. He has the opportunity to make a really good impression. I wonder if Potter will mainly want him to run and kick the ball, leaving the organising to Farah and Brooks.

I agree Austin has done everything possible to get his first grade shot for the tigers, and I'm half glad he is finally getting it. BUT. I wonder if Anasta is having the same effect as Robson has on Carney?
Both are the back seat of the halves and significantly lesser in quality but somehow allow their partner to shine. Same could be said for Johnson and Leuluia.

Just my 2 cents but I hope having two good halves partners isn't going to cause chaos in the team and struggle to perform. I mean Austin has done everything possible in lower grade, I hope those two can shine together because they will be a great pairing in the future if Moses doesn't work out.

Anasta charged, that's a joke. Considered the game played against the Rabbitohs, Anasta played like an angel. Inconsitency with the judiciary is a problem, so was the refreeing so far this year. Hope they can picked their game up.
