he went in on hannant, saying he needed to harden up and stop sooking, gotta love gordy just like mark geyer, they speak their mind while everyone else has taken the soft view on this it refreshing to have someone tell it like it is

lol, yeah but thats different, when its an attack on your family member then you reserve the right to act how ever, but in the end he had a stormer of a game and that sign served as fuel to the fire
 
Wasnt Hannant mouthing off about somebodys mum,you could read his lips so i dont think he can bag anyone for bagging his bible
 
yeah you can see him mouth the words "your mum" on the footage, i think ben may have gone back and shed a tear in the dressing room

It was a joke…..don't condone it at all....

On the field however.....what's said on the field stays on the field....

Hannant didn't want to pursue it....bit harsh to call him a sook....

The NRL are the one's living in PC bizzaroworld....
 
Disagree boys - Name calling shows imaturity and a sore loser and Im pi$$ed at Gibs for stooping so low..

Family and religeon is off limits. And I have reminded many a mans face of that fact.

Gibbs and Ennis a noted grubs for this very reason.

On a WT front I am happy that no further action to be taken..
 
religion is a no go? lol, its a life choice not something that you are born with and have no say in the matter, like if bryce chose to dress up in drag is that off limits to? because its personal??

I remember that game. It was our Lote Tuqiri who actually pointed out the sign…

Unfortunately, the outburst by Gordan was the last straw from the ARL's point of view and was the reason Gordan lost the Australian Captaincy...

I'm sorry but I have a MASSIVE problem with religion and the religious hypocrits who plague our society. Niggle and sledge is a part of team sport - unless a line is crossed and you cant tell me that one was. What Gibbs said was only guilty of being a pretty lame sledge. There were a 100 comebacks to what he said that would have made him look like a goose, instead the "man of god" decided to fight…..
 
I think it is far more acceptable for players to vent their anger by sledging rather than throwing punches resulting in penalties resulting in suspensions…
