I wouldn’t blame him if he left ,,,he isn’t a young man and has had health issues … I think the only possibility he stays is if things go back to independence somehow

Exactly we don't know none of us do it's just pure speculation at the moment. HBG would be well aware that trying to bring back the Magpies will be a failure of epic proportions they wouldn't have nearly enough support now compared to the 90s & the Campbelltown area has already embraced WT's.

Or East Tigers, they have more money than Ashfield and it solves a couple of problems for the NRL.

One less Sydney side and that gives the NRL an extra team in Brisbane.

Brisbane Tigers it may well be.

Then Penrith and Canterbury can take over Western Sydney.

A win win for the NRL no more drama from a club that has been utterly incompetent for 25 years.

And umpteen thousands of fans disenfranchised. Great outcome pal.
