I think people are over Lote selling himself like some cheap you know what about the place. I'd be fairly happy for him to come over, not just as a player, but as you say, sponsorship etc all the other perks with signing a big name, I would just like him to make a decision.

I've heard that the Lima deal is not 100%…as we are trying to get the Storm to pay some of his $.

(I.e. the same type of deal as when Todd Payten came here / Roosters still paid him).

That way:

Money goes off the Storm's cap.
We don't have to pay much.

Both clubs win.

Except that the Storm obviously would prefer someone to take him who pays more.

Generally when there is alot of contract talk, you get some people who feel left out and the danny weidler in them comes out.

This whole Mullaney to sharks talk is an example of that. Most likely someone who isn't happy unless he can complain, has seen we are active in the market at the moment and needs to counter the positive feeling with something negative.
