We need our spine all to have a breakout year. They need to be accurate in attack not side to side. With our forwards to lead the way with aggression and speed. Breakout player Luke Brooks has the Ability and now needs the confidence let’s get behind him!

Outside backs and forwards having a breakout year usually doesn't get you in to the finals. Need a spine member to kill it.

Looking through all these posts, there’s a heap of guys you could choose from. But it also highlights to me how much better we’re recruiting in the last 18 months to 2 yrs it’s been top notch. Clearys scattergun approach was just horrific, I know you have to back the coach but surely someone must have asked him what he was smoking.
Anyhow we’re on the up from that plenty of young hungry players with guys like Tamou Nofa and hopefully JTJ leading from the front foot, I don’t think finals footy is a million miles away.

Breakout year to me is a player who has had a few chances but just never kicked on until this season.

AJ is my pick, he showed enough last year that he has some spark. His eye issues should be sorted, his first pre-season under Madge & with the team. I’m excited by what be could provide us.

Breakout star is one we know can perform and gets to another level this year.

Brooks & Liddle are clear one we hope rises to the challenge, but the big pick for me is Twal & Tamou. I think they will be huge this year for us.

Rookie - be between Laurie, Stefano, Simpkin and Tuki. If I had to pick would be Simpkin.

I saw him, good pass and on the ball well. First choice backup half for sure, If not on the bench. The fact they didn’t play him at all in NSW cup makes me think that he will be used as a utility, with Lam going into dummy half.

Not sure about that Lam was very good. Started most of their line breaks and contributed to some decent tries. Was the best half for the roosters. Don’t see Hutchinson getting much time and Keighran only played as a dummy half/middle forward.
I see what you mean re looking like Joey Johns, but the raiders were fielding a second string team by the time Walker came on. Those long cross field passes will be eaten up by first grade centres.

I dont care how many on here are prepared to bag me out bigtime,but I have always learnt that in my playing days "experience will lead the way"...Mbye,Tamou,Brooks, JTJ and BJ will help hone the skills of the young group in the squad,and will all go above and beyond to help this team and Madge make the finals this year..Madge has had a lot to do with the JET in previous coaching contract and I can see him really finding his form that made him an origin sensation...
For all the ones on here that want to criticise players,there are excuses for most of our highly played players such as Packer,Mbye,JR when he was here ...injuries and personal problems affect all of us.these guys are no exception,if Mbye and JTJ are fully fit we will see why they could command the big dollars they were paid...put all the crap aside,get behind what Madge is trying to do and most of all have faith in our team...we will make the finals this year,I do have faith...
