Brenden Santi signs with Eels

Santi is a better player now but Lovett has a better possible upside moving forward.

I rate Figatusa as a far better future backrow prospect then either by the fair length of a straight though

That and there is a far superior player to either in both the Magpies and Balmain SG Ball squads of this season

what are there names and any other details, eg: height and weight. thanks

I'd rate Lovett a far better first grade prospect than Santi at the moment. Watch & see how many times Santi is caught lying behind the ruck after he has made a tackle. He does a lot work but NRL is a lot faster than Holden Cup.

Height, Weight I do not know exact figures

Junior Tatola, Matthew Woods & Sauni from the Pies (I believe he is HMatts though)

I liked what I saw from Figatusa this year. He always looks busy. It's not just the hair, but he reminds me a bit of Ryan James from the Titans. Hopefully he can kick on.

Matt woods is Braith Anasta 2.0

Who is Matt woods? What position? Will he be under 20s next year?

He is a backrower / 5-8th with a kicking game and also converts. I think he'll play 20's next year. He was injured for the backpart of this season but was 18th man on a couple of occasions.

he is in this video

Was chatting to the guy at work about Matt Woods, as he dated his mother. From what I can tell they are a family rich on Balmain tradition and are Tigers tragics.

He is not big but has a good technique and is highly thought of. I believe he plays second row.

Hope he and Vela kick on next year.

Can't believe Mayer has let Santi go. What a great game he had against the Raiders in a losing team. Anyway, Goodluck to him at the Eels …. I am sure he will make the grade.

Any port in the storm for a dig, knuckle.

We tried to keep him, Mayer didn't "let Santi go".

Did Mayer run over your dog?

According to the Media Brendan Santi has a get out clause in his contract with the Eels following Ricky Stuart's departure, while it would be great to see him activate the clause would Grant Mayer then be in a position to offer him a contract?.

Apparently the Eels offered waaaay overs for him….he'd have to accept a reduction to return I presume

I have heard similar talk, word is that he has been offered money in line with an experienced player.
good luck to him.

If it is a Klemmer type contract, I wouldn't blame him for staying. He's no certainty to get a regular spot here either. He would walk into Pawwa's starting side at the moment.

And if they did good luck to the kid , your not in the game forever and he might of been stuck behind a few others along the way and had to wait another 2-3 years to get those dollars at the Tigers

And if he is good enough he will get the recognition even playing at Parra

He will probably stand out like a sore thumb over in Eel land
