Does the club need to get on the front foot and maybe issue an apology perhaps ?

I assume if there is any punishment the Club might be fined, the players were silly in doing what they did.

Winning gracefully is for losers . It’s like when Gallen drop kicked that field goal when we were battling it out for the 8 . It might as well have been the the bird . Top 5 most disrespectful things I’ve ever seen on the footy field . Now take my tigers glasses off , and it’s funny , as I was told my mate who’s favourite players were Gallen and valentine Holmes .
The nrl has forgotten what a good bulldogs team means re. Fans and crowd behaviour . Unfortunately … we all know what it is .
I remember going to a game when they played at the giants home ground and we won the game . After the game , there were pockets of “fans” clearly trying to start fights with small groups of tigers fans , with the worst being 2 dads and thier kids .
I went to another game where I watch from the other side of the stadium a dad gave a fight with 2 dogs fans who were hurling abuse and throwing shit at his daughter a few rows in front of them .
To imply that fanbase has anything other than a toxic culture , and that the club fostered it originally , then claimed ignorance when it got out of hand , is bullshit . History is repeating itself unfortunately .
In all that though , that hand gesture is a bit of a no no from the boys . It’s no different to flipping the bird . I can see a few fines coming the tigers way.

The NRL/Tigers can't have players flipping the bird at fans.. so we will need to do something and probably cop a fine from the NRL. I can't see the players being handed additional punishment by the club for what happened on the field, but maybe Naden might need to cop a wrap across the knuckles because it was post match and no longer in the emotion of the moment itself..

We just suck it up and move on...

Let's see what Gould has to say about this on his show tonight. He's a big advocate of the world has gone too soft, too much PC etc but I'm sure in this instance he'll say we are bringing game into disrepute. Hope it's Chammas up against him

It's not just flipping the bird. It's much more insulting than that.

It refers to putting something inside someones something. Why do you think they complained about it?...they wouldn't have complained about the traditional middle finger sign, but this one got them upset.

It's really quite vulgar. Lots of people forget that peoples kids might be watching or at the game. For the "family club" Why would you want your kids around that? I'm not personally offended by it, but we all need to remember it's not just us that matters.
 
Dogs forum is in meltdown over the post try celebration rubbish. They must have the lowest IQ of all supporters. They are claiming to be so offended by a "racist" finger solute and then call eachother goat fers and talk about Nadens heritage in the next sentence. Talk about sore losers. Cant wait for them to bow out early in the semi's and still somehow blame it on us.

I'm lebanese i find it no more offensive than the bird. By the way, What do you think the longest finger sticking up in the air with the words "up yours" means. Its literally the same thing.
