Brent Naden #256

Another diamond in the rough like Blake Austin, Taupau, Naiqama...

He's always been a talent, just needs to keep it together, on and off the field.

Aye @batboy

Think we've got him at his peak.
Settled down with a wife and a new kid... just needs to keep his nose clean and keep trying like he has since he's pulled on our jersey.
He’s maturing as a person and hopefully that flows through on field coz if he reduces his errors and lapse in D then he could be considered top shelf.
And this hopefully happens for a few of the others.

He's our best outside back and the next two are Tupou and Staines. All from other systems.

Late starter
ship around the back line a lot...
and makes some dumb decisions on and off the park.
Can certainly light it up though.

I've always been waiting for him to get a season in the one position and see where he gets to with it....
A lot to like about him.... Has some real mongrel.

Also settled contract wise as well....
I'm hopeful....
- I also look at it like he can't be any worse than Milone, Jennings, Fonua, Marsters, Hoeter, Rankin, Pauga, Cini, BJ, Roberts, Naiqama and plenty of others over the last decade....
Geez that last paragraph of your post is depressing!!!

Yeah, I was really critical of him when he was at the 'Riff around the cocaine/Grand Final business and thought he got away with it fairly lightly at the time.

Didn't really do much at the Dogs and obviously was not wanted there.

Have to say I have become a bit of a fan since he has come here especially seeing that it was initially on a bargain contract.

He's certainly not that young these days and may possibly have reached his ceiling but I still think there is a bit of improvement in him.

What I want to see more of and what I really like about him is when he gets the ball and is able to wind up with what to me is his trade mark long arcing run and eventually getting up to top speed which is when he looks almost unstoppable.
