I am not a great reader of the Brett Team or results but can anyone explain why Junior Roquica is not playing in Toyota Cup for the Wests Tigers this weekend aginst the Broncos as I was positive he was playing earlier this year?

I am not sure of his age. At a guess i would think Sheens has him earmarked at some degree to be fast-tracked due to his good size. Sheens did give him a run with 1st grade vs Shellharbour during the trials at the start of the year though.
Perhaps with the departure of Peni Tagive, there could be some sort of opening to fill the void.

He's only 18.

Great win to BRET considering they had to do it the hard way. For anyone who went, who stood out and played well? How did Roqica go?

Mataka had a blinder and got players player award. Makaui also was very destructive and scheming well behind the ruck and gave the BRET a good attacking option down the left hand side. Gower was giving it his all and played as if his life depended upon it all day in the heat, and was stitched up under his eye.
In the end, error free, smart football got them home. True character showed for them not to crack when under the pump.
All i can say is….WHAT A GAME TO WATCH!! :supporter:

Great win.

They never put the cue in the rack.

Wenty get Horo back next week though so that makes them a better side again.

Turniong point of the match was a massive hit from Hawkins and Big Al to knock the ball free before half time allowing us to score.

Yet again we are the walking wounded. Newtown winning would have beenj great to get a week off but we do it again next week and hope the Storm bring the same game they showed to the Pies today
