You want a source for something that isn't going to happen? A very reliable source (who he can not possibly name personally but rest assured they're great buds and proves just how close to the inner circle he is) told him 100% that something would not happen today.

Well reading the chain of posts, you will notice most if not all who comment on the topic always mention a "close source" - some say he is coming , some say he isnt …. all i was just wanting which im sure all who view this forum is some clarification so we can finally close the topic.. :unamused:

Fair enough. I agree with your frustration - supposedly all these people have close sources and not one of them mentioned Wade McKinnon before it happened.

've heard this a few times over the weekend too. I honestly hope it doesn't happen. I can see the advantages of an experienced Brett Finch for us this year, but would hate for him to be around next season. Lui and Moltzen are the long term options, let Lui develop his skills further in FG.
It stinks a little of Sheens covering his but by looking for short term success in making the 2010 finals, rather then concentrating on the development of Lui for the long term.

sheens has to cover his arse and sign a half as if he doesnt make the finals he has no job. and that is fact. i have a family member with storm and he tells me he knows nothing of the deal and the tigers have salary cap issues

Mate, he will be a welcome addition to the team , bringing some much need experience (250+ FGG) which compliment our very young team, he will also take a very big load of Benji & Robbie's shoulders allowing them to eventually start playing there natural game which will eliminate the risky options they tend to take when the team run out of options - and this isn't directly not there fault its purely due to limited options the team as a whole has available in this point in time…

im all for developing lui but hes currently injured out for maybe the next 3 weeks (one report i heard) and in that time we slump to 10th or worse, while sheens experiements with every different half combination? im happy to have moltz and lui for next year but for now we have lui as the only serious option and i doubt he will not have another injury before the year is out.

it would be nice having two half options, but im not confident finch is joining us. i have more certainty that slovakia will beat netherlands ($5 on pays $42) :slight_smile:
