Brett Finch Playing For Tigers Next Week!!

 It's all getting a bit silly now…...

Sirro you have a lot to answer for...

It's funny how everyone hoped Lui wasn't out for long with this injury and now everyone thinks Lui is going to be out for while. Either way, Finch will be a good one!!

Not 100% convinced on Finch being the answer but he will be a breath of fresh air in our kicking game… and we need it more than ever.

I think he would be great, but it would be greater if people stoppped making stuff up to put on this blog.

well his manager has hinted that its true …

Brisbane will prepare this week as if Melbourne Storm five-eighth Brett Finch will start for the Tigers, with speculation sweeping league circles he will be granted a release by the June 30 deadline.
>
But Storm management and Finch's agent Steve Gillis yesterday denied he was going anywhere.
>
"The rumour mill has gone crazy, but **there is more chance of me playing full-forward for the Bulldogs in the AFL than there is of Brett playing for the Tigers on Friday," Gillis said**.

which is the same as this ...

Gillard on June 17:

THERE'S more chance of me becoming the full-forward for the Dogs [Western Bulldogs] than there is any chance of a change in the Labor Party.

Good comparison there Vlad.
I guess the western bulldogs are going to have a really bad team next year.

Another mid season deal eh?

I would like to see how he'd fare, could be a solid solution for the #7, then again he could be the same train wreck that Parramatta sacked last year.

He would be a welcome addition. he has been in great form for the cheats this year and i bit more expierience in the halves would be great for the tiges.

Im hearing more reports now that the deal might not go through?

Apparently his Manager had agreed to the terms, but Brett was reluctant to the arrangement, and will be playing out the remainder of the season with Melbourne….

This one of the best I've heard for a while. Will he come or will he stay is anyones guess??!!!

IMO
If true - Finch would be a good signing for us.
His experience would benefit the team straight away help with development of younger players.
Also his experience/personality would help him fit in straight away and be accepted by our
playmakers Farah & Marshall

I think we should throw everything we have at signing Cooper Cronk…even if it means shedding some players

Chris - seems you are very confident that there will no announcement today, are you able to provide a source to validate your comments pls….

You want a source for something that isn't going to happen? A very reliable source (who he can not possibly name personally but rest assured they're great buds and proves just how close to the inner circle he is) told him 100% that something would not happen today.

Fair dinkum…
