Bring back Balmain and Wests

with all the money coming up from the tv rights , and the nrl looking at expansion , the gold coast a flop financially , why not bring back the 2 old teams ,the money clubs are going to get will be able to pay its way with out sponsors , sponsors money will be icing on the cake , plus the players are earning extra from other things they do outside of the game ,before anyone starts trying to kill me for thinking of this , its not a bad idea really the magpie supporters will be happy and so would the balmain supporters , all it would take is people power

ummm no, not only is this never going to happen, we've all slowly come to the party with the Wests Tigers. This is all about looking forwards, not backwards.

We need less teams in Sydney, they need to expand to Perth, another Brissie side and Central Coast.

Never gonna happen, nor should it. Still too many teams in Sydney as is. The league needs to merge some more teams or move at least 2 teams out of Sydney and make it a true National league. Thats the best way forward for this game, not going backwards. Balmain and Wests are dead and buried. Wests Tigers have risen from the ashes of both great old clubs. How silly to want to go back to the bad old days because some old fuddies cant move with the times. Its been like 13 years. Move on. It annoys me we still have to hear all this rubbish for at least another 10 years until all these people die off and the new generation comes through. After all, these days i dont hear about anyone wanting to bring back Annandale or Glebe.

Im Happy with where we have gotten to in the last 13\. A team thats not associated with years of failure. Lets fix any outstanding issues and make the most of the best of two formaly great clubs.

For Me the sooner the Wests Magpies and Balmain Tigers are buried the better.

failure i dont recall balmain being failures , if winning the comp is the only way you are not a failure , then cronulla , gold coast , souths are all failures but they are still in the main game , neither will be dead and buried , just watch what happens with the west magpies and balmain vote coming up
