Bring back Sheens

Couple of early wins will shut all this crap up. Round one can't come quick enough

Will need more than that. A couple of early wins got people off Potter's back and look how that turned out. I started a poll asking if he should be re-signed and the majority of the forum said yes. Flash forward 3 months and a lot of the same people wanted his head. As others have said, supporters will turn on you pretty quickly in this job. The only thing that will shut people up next yr is a top 8 finish. Nothing less will suffice.

Some of these pages will be added to my favorites and rehashed next season when everyone is praising Taylor for getting us to the top 4.

It'll show how fickle some of you blokes are.

I can't believe you're creaming your duds over a coach who's not even set foot on the training paddock yet .. And as for a top 4 finish , let's wait and see hey ?

Errr I said yesterday I was playing the wait and see game with JT. My post was directed towards the fans who have already hit JT with their usual doom and gloom. Some of these blokes change their tunes when all is going well but like I said, I'll rehash some of these topics later when the fickleness of these blokes come out.

Sheens "cool and unpredictable". I thought missing the top8 in a 16 team comp 7 times out of 10 was pretty predictable.

You could never predict how bad we were going to be from week to week

A lot of people on this forum wanted change during the Shenius years, well the facts are simple.

1) Sheens was cool, unpredictable, we played an interesting style of footy even when we lost, The tv ratings spoke volumes. We even won a premiership.

2) Potter didn't do much in 2 years, felt sorry for him though

3)Now we have a great "football" brain as a coach who likes to piss in cups and throw it on other people, and gets knocked out by his own players. Let's face it, if you haven't matured by 30 or 35 you will never mature. I think assistant suited him fine, chasing the balls around the park, but first grade coach?

I hope Taylor wins a premiership for the tigers, though this one has the hallmarks of an epic tragedy especially at a time when the tigers need exceptional leadership, I'm disappointed.

And i don't want to hear about how he had matured at the roosters, I could have coached the rorters to a premiership, all they needed to do is show up.

We are all aware of Taylor's past history. How about yours?

I wonder if you have had a clean and blame free life.

Remember the saying about people in glass houses?

Grow up.

My disappointment is that knockers who are supposed to be team followers are already out in force only hours after the appointment. As was said some weeks ago it doesn't matter which coach is selected at least 50% of the forum will say they are disappointed.

There is a saying that life is what you make it. Jason Taylor now has a great chance to make what he can as Wests Tigers new coach. The decision has been made . He needs support and living in the past and bringing back Sheens is not going to help anything

Well said Newtown. On a day where such positivity has re-entred this club with a number of pieces of positive news why some are so hellbent on negativity.HMMMM.

What's the positivity? We have a new coach and some other dude appointed. I'd be positive if I was sure that the correct culprit (Potter) has been booted. But, you know what? I think Mayer and Farah have a lot to answer and they're still there! I am underwhelmed by the appointment of Taylor. So much for positivity.

There is lot to be positive about.

We have a completely new structure, backed by the NRL which I dare anyone to say isn't better than last year's structure.

We have young talented players many of whom well have a breakout year in 2015.

We have a new coach who isn't afraid to stand up to the players and remind them their position in life is to play football and leave the rest to the coach,

We have a new operations manager and general manager each of whom have a clear understanding of what their job entails.

Otherwise keep dreaming about the mayhem of 2014 instead of the future in 2015..
