Roosters are never in the hole when Uncle Nick bails out every bad decision they make.

We're suppose to have an uncle of our own aren't we? Apparently some millionaire supporter who supposedly backs us yet gives us nothing
Whose he again?

Goodbye Harry, good to see the back of you. You were a con like a lot of so-called do gooders within our club. Like the saying goes, a friend in need is a friend indeed.

stfu u dribbler people are able to put their money into a club when they see fit, he may not agree with the decision to release sheens. Why dont u and ur loyal mates start a pay out sheens fund? Put ur own money where ur mouth is before u start slagging off contributions of others.

Yup, agree with that … Everyone who so desperately wanted the coach sacked ... Time to toss a few coins toward Concord.
Harry is probably well over this ship of fools.

Given there is probably zero benefit to Triguboff sponsoring the club I wouldn't be too critical. I'd never knock anyone who's prepared to put some cash into the joint.

Fair dinkum we have some crazy supporters! It would appear that anybody who held a position when the Wests Tigers produced there amazing second half of the year in 2005 is treated as some type of demi-god who can do no wrong, regardless of what they did before and after.

I look back at that period 2005 with an extremely young roster, massive supporter base and great brand and look at where we are today. The club has relatively no money in the bank, players have not reached their potential (apsart from moments of brilliance 6 times a year) but we do finally have some stable/recognisable sponsors.

Yes Noyce was a good fit for the Tigers at the time, but it is time to move forward.

Losing Meriton would be a big loss. We may see hyundai or wests ashfield as major sponsors next year

Our current CEO is far from perfect but in terms of corporate support we are in a better position then ever. The last few years has been the first time i have not had to look up a jersey sponsor to see what the hell they do

A pile of crap :crazy :crazy .Inherited a team who couldnt win a game, sell a jersey, get a sponsor for a jersey and have players who were either drug cheats or sticking their fingers up unwanted cracks re hoppa.Within a couple of years he wins us games(put bums on seats)turned us into media darlings on and off the field. We became the highest jersey seller and in turn our jersey sponsorship became lucrative.Oh and did I mention ummm 2005 our only Nrl premiership.A pile of crap. What makes you speak with such hatred Smeg.Hmmmmm.

And what Humpty has done a fine job managing our CAP?….Noyce is a fin administrator and I'd take him back in some capacity

He had a solid stint with WT (and wests before that) but yes his final years at WT exposed some holes in his practices

As Smeg said, we were paying Ryan O'Hara for 2 years AFTER he left the club.

No to having Steve Noyce back.
he had his time. some decisions were good, some were bad.
the organisation name is wests-tigers, not the " old boys club", needs to progress, not regress.

That is so true and lets not forget because of noyces ineptitude we had to let fulton play in the uk so we wouldnt be over the salary cap.

We won a comp and then signed more players the following year fulton was one casualty for a year and then returned.I think this is a better option than our current situation where we are just losing them outright due to salary cap situations fresh off a season where we didnt even make the eight. How long have we been screaming out for a prop or halfback.Remember Scott Prince and Todd payten(and we got payten at half price as the roosters paid half)After Noyce outwitted then roosters ceo and supposed corporate whiz Brian Canavan. Thanks Noyce for that.I love how some people seem to rewrite history when it for some "reason" doesnt seem to appeal to them. Why such the hate on Noyce when Humpty hopped into such a better performing franchise and now where we sit hes doing everything he can to send it broke.

Humphreys is doing everything he can to send the JV broke? :roll That's a baseless assumption on your behalf.

I'm not sure of the ins and outs of it all, but we were average under Noyces' watch aswell.Don't forget it was Noyce who claimed we were going to try to be like Man United. An outragous thing to say publicly. His tenure at the Roosters hasn't gone so well since 2010 either.

It's a no thanks from me.

And your description of the Tim sheens situation and the current state of the Wests tigers is needing a 2 million dollar advance is ?

The question is getting bigger..we would not want Noyce back..but Humpty is a worry as far as CEO..maybe a good administrator in another lower capacity , but not the CEO.

If Noyce was so good, why did the Roosters punt him ? Generally speaking you retain talent and get the underperformers to walk, so does anyone know the reason ?
