Half-back Tom Humble says there is no better time to turn Wests Tigers form around than against the Brisbane Broncos at Allianz Stadium on Good Friday.
Humble is confident the side can record their second win providing they address their discipline issue. Wests Tigers are the most penalised side in the competition.
“If you are going to find form, it would be good to find against one of the better teams and the Broncos are one of those sides,’’ Humble said.
“(Half-back) Peter Wallace is steering the team around well. They are going to be tough.”
Humble said the team had vowed to put the heartbreaking loss against Souths behind them and not worry about the criticism the side has copped over its defence.
“We are not reading the papers. We are here as one unit. We are working together and working hard on our defence,’’ Humble said.
“The thing is we are not that far off. I’ve got that feeling we just need that one win and once we get that, we will find some sort of form and get on a roll.
“We are going to come out excited and ready to play Friday night. We did last weekend as well and we just had a bit of lapse for 5 minutes. There is not too much more different we have got to do except to play for 80 (minutes).
“It is a family night (for the Club) and we are looking for a big crowd to get along. I think we should go well and get the result.”
