I have spoken to loads of mates who usually get together for a few drinks, a feed and watch the grand final and this year we are giving it the flick. Sure I'll probably have it on in the background but no one really cares about the game. I can see this as being a real ratings problem for channel 9 everywhere bar QLD. I hate the Broncos and dislike the cowboys so would prefer the cowboys to win but really if I miss the game and only see the highlights I won't be all that worried. What does everyone else think?

I hope this bloke enjoys the highlights.

That's the only game I have cheered for a team all 80 minutes for them to win and then feel empty. The way it went down is not only cruel but sad. Ben Hunt is one of the best young men and players in the game. It's plain wrong he now has to live with this.

slap slap slap Geo. Who was better than Thurston? I hate the guy, think he's a grub. But he was everywhere. No cowboy came close to him. The hooker early em was good and Lowe the backrower was great…. but Thurston won it.

Milford was best on ground until he cost his team the win. Hunt didn't cost them, Milford did in the 79th minute

Wow that was a stunning game of football. Feel very sorry for the Broncs but they can hold their heads up. The Cows were arguably the better side and just got there…
