Have to agree , I said this during the game and the wife who backs the tigers I think due to feeling sorry for me said they are laying on our players for double the amount of time , She called forward passes out 3 times and they were , I know it doesn’t change the game but it sure does make it a shitty NRL result

Agree, as time goes by more and more of us who want the club to be successful realise that it starts with a meritorious board who have the leadership they ask of a player.

Yesterday was the first game this year where we got the short end of the stick,it was a Sutton in Brisbane so you know you will get continually shafted because of his bias.Our other 4 games the refereeing was decent even if our pathetic coach complained about it.

I noticed the same things. Constant bias. Even the commentators didn't comment on the Brisbane forward passes. It's only the Tigers so who cares.

He didn't help but we have specialised in self-shafting for a long time and this year seem to be even worse.

You are about the same vintage as i am as i go back to the last year of unlimited tackle.Our current "establishment" are a complete nightmare and my faith as a Tiger supporter has never been under as much pressure as what it is this year.Our team is ok without being anything special but is underperforming so badly due to many factors that they are looking like not only wooden spooners but a team that will not win a game.
Sheens is horrendous but it is the idiots who put him there who are the main people to blame.Pascoe and the entire board are at fault and are killing the club

I don't think it's any one individual.
A common theme is under-performing. Why is it that players come to us and drop a level? A series of coaches/ player turnover etc has failed to change anything and has just made it worse.
We were on the precipe already but the slide into the abyss really started to happen when we lost three of the Big Four. Up until then we had enough talent to keep semi-competitive - since then there has been no real spirit or direction.

You think Brooks is doing better than Hastings? If the choice was up to you, which one would you get rid of...Brooks or Hastings?

Comparing team to Broncos the obvious glaring difference is Speed !
Brooks however is a given he is not a halfback and must be moved either as a center or released . The rest of the backline are simply too slow .Its not just the Broncos who are fast the top sides all are much faster and fitter

Theyre just more impressive athletes... but it's not just speed we lack. Brooks has speed... and we all know how well that works for him

Also, did anyone else noticed that it look like Bateman had the sh!ts and slotted himself into the halves a few times, as like to say to Brooks "this is how to do it"?
It's a bit harder concentrating on a game these days through the tears and my imagination trying to take over to escape the pain of watching games...🤔

The press conference sheens said himself he moved him from the edge to the middle and it gassed Bateman.

That’s just rearranging the deck chairs. These players aren’t up to it no matter where you play them. For a start Douehi, Brooks and Laurie have to go but nobody any good is coming to this club any time soon and the KOE / Flegg players either aren’t ready or aren’t up to it. Sorry to say but we are in a deep, deep hole and I don’t see a way out.

I think Sheens is probably past his ‘use by’ date but looking at Robbie and Benji last night they looked pretty clueless I have to say. How do we extricate ourselves from a massive over-investment in dubious coaching and bring in a quality coach who has a record of achievement e.g Flanagan. Our only chance of getting quality players is to have a coach players want to play for.
