Brooks deal?

Yeah $400k each for two 18 year olds who had yet to debut sounds unlikely.

Not a matter of opinion, straight from one of the boys managers, each are on 400k from next year, it was a 1.7million deal for each of them

Not sure why a manager would offer up such details like that. I guess its possible, but like most things on the internet you have to take things with a grain of salt, which is what I am doing now.

I severely doubt they are on $400k.
They may be able to earn that in a heavily incentive based contract assuming they play every game and make some rep teams and achieve some other incentives.

Yeah, 400k MAX sounds believable. But like you said, he'd probably have to play city country, every nrl match score a LOT of tries. Maybe even play for NSW to get the full 400k. He's probably on a moderate base salary and will earn a decent amount more if he plays most games and does alright.

300k is off the mark, I will most likely get written off for this but straight from Moses' manager is that he and brooks were both signed for just over 400k/season from next year

400k a season would be more than Woods or Galloway or Fulton or Lawrence get. 400k without having played a first grade game….I don't think so.
All the young guys that have played 1st grade this year would have incentives in their contracts which could be another 50k - 70k. times how many 8 players? Farah on 900k. Moltzen Anasta BMM Tuqiri would also be on good money.
Someone do the maths.

Some of are r confused, my info isn't a guess, it's what it is! BMM would not be on big money at all and anasta is only on 200k a season, the brooks/Moses deals start next year, so minus the large tuquiri payments! Add to the fact that the salary cup goes up significantly next year…

I think the value of his contract is irrelevant…

I'm just glad he and his mate will be at the club over the next few years giving us all something to enjoy and watch him develop into a Fulltime NRL Player...

Although, I did hear he will get an additional $1M per season if he gets selected in the NBA All Stars?!

There's also a bonus in his contract if he makes the Australian squad in any sport of his choice. I believe he's a great bob sledder and can also throw a mean discus. Failing that if he wins a marginal seat in the election he doesn't have to do the captains run. I heard this from a mate of a mate who's mum washes Holy Cross' under 14b sides jerseys every second week. So it's on very reliable grounds.

Regardless of what the estimated value is, a contract isn't worth the paper it's written on anymore.

As long as Luke is happy he will want to stay at the club.
