Wasn't at Brooks at 6 in those games? Thought Hastings was 7 and Brooks against Eels/Rabbits last year.

I think we need to 'loan' Brooks out now that Dolphins have lost O'Sullivan probably for the entire year. Our season is dead anyway.

Have to disagree. I think it's obvious he tries his heart out. Tonight he was trying to hit as hard as anyone on the field.
It's simply a complete lack of confidence and inability to play in the halves at this level.
Effort not the issue IMO

Apologies I didn’t articulate my thoughts very well. I don’t think he actually tanked. Just one of those games where everything a player did just went to poo (so it seemed like he tanked).

Wow, those w/l stat's are terrible. 100% I believe he goes out there to give his all but the poor guys cooked and to continue to play him when it's obvious he's struggling isn't right in my books.

Don’t know if this was posted but saw on Facebook someone started a change petition to get Brooks out. Don’t think have seen that happen before.

All Brooks needed was a good forward pack and he woukd stand up. Our pack is amazing. And what do we get from brooks? Single handed cost us that game. The reason he keeps hitting the short pass that is never on, is because he can’t pass. He can’t kick. He can’t direct. Yet to baby him we still give tne number 7 jersey. If he gets picked next week then the coaches are as much to blame as he is.

Reilly has plenty of time to work on his defence. How long did we sign that "project" for?
Every game he makes a tackle that no one else will or could - but you can't carry him in a key position if we want to win games.
Trouble for all the coach's at this club when persisting with Brooks - is that the effort players are few and far between - losing will do that to you.

So many aspects of his game have fallen off the cliff, I am not sure who to blame. He showed some of these skills in his early development years, and they are not something that just go.
His game management has never been demonstrated.
He has showed a kicking game, a passing game & decision making in terms of selecting the recipient of passes. It went backwards under Taylor, was improving under Cleary, but fell to pieces under Madge and has not looked like recovering.
