You’re kidding! Did he really say that? Man that little piece of ———— is so far up himself it’s not funny. Jeez I hope he amounts to nothing in football. He has no class or character at all. Absolute scum.

He should switch to cricket

No mate - wouldn’t work. You’ve actually got to have balls to tamper with them!!

That Gold Steve.

Brooks or the Tigers havnt earnt the right to be cocky yet.

2 games doesnt make a successful season.

we started ok last year aswell if i recall.

Hard work and humility.. the rest will come.

Hard work and humility - what everyone should aspire to

I doubt he said that…. There'd be headlines in capitals if he did

Yeah agree Ink you only do that for two reasons , to get people off their game or you do it tongue and cheek and are winding a few opposition mates up

Brooks just needs to stick to the game plan , get his kicking and pass game in order and continue defending like he has

Got a feeling he might cross for a 4 pointer

Being a magpie fan for decades I would have said exactly the same thing. I was the only on record in opposing Sharon's captaincy, a move I thought was a deliberate losing move by the Club - WT helped in bringing it on themselves. Finally the Club had some Epsom salts when left with no other option.

I can't see brooks bragging at home to Moses, but if parra were to win I could see Moses jumping around in his parra pajamas acting like a little school girl.

What do you mean acting - he is a little school girl.

I don’t how much Moses is loving Parramatta .
I know he loves himself though. I wouldn’t be if he has a tattoo of himself and an oversized cut out of his own head in his bedroom.

He doesn't have a cut-out of his own head in his room, don't be silly, it's just his head printed on the wallpaper and on his bedspread and pillowslip.

Anyone else not feeling confident about this game?
I don't like playing sides desperate for a win and that all the experts are writing off, missing players etc it's setting up for the perfect ambush.

No. We will smash them.

Yep, Im not

After being at Campbelltown last week, I'm confident that this team can beat anyone. When you're at the game you can hear the smack of body on body in the tackles and these boys of ours don't muck around, they are serious.

I went there too.
I was nervous knowing we were missing ET and was curious how our defence would hold up.
I was behind the try line the tigers were defending in the second half.
At first it was fingers crossed wishing.
Then I remembered the storm game and the Roosters game before that.
After not conceding in those first early sets I had all the confidence that our line will hold up.
We were broken by a couple of quick darts out of dummy half a strong lodge run and a sharp dummy from nikorima.
I thought James Roberts would rip us apart but we kicked deep and defended well. Everyone was talking in those sets behind the line. Thompson was directing every defencive set.
There is so much dedication in this group, there is a belief among them that they can defend teams out of the game.
I think they can keep it up. But understandably being a long time tigers fan I’m nervous again this week.

Moses has shown himself to be a person of no substance, no inner strength. As soon as things get a little tough or don't go his way he spits the dummy and is quick to blame everyone else. His repeated run ins with the refs are typical of his character.
There is no doubting his talent however, just watch the first 15 minutes of the other weeks game (before he went off for HIA), he was absolutely on fire and in everything the Eels did. I hope we can put him off his game and get them all arguing amongst themselves - him and Corey Norman - he's another tool, actually the Eels have got plenty of them.
