Brooks & Moses always wanted to stay

No offence to Moses, but I don't believe him. If he was in form & someone offered him 700k, I think he'd be gone.

I'd just see Moses shut up for a while and concentrate on football, instead of sprouting off when ever he can about how he's "growing " or some other little gem.
I thought him telling Laurie Daly who he had to pick was a bit rich , coming from a player who is only first grade standard on a few games per year.

That's a bit rich GCT - a "Brown Dog" could select a better team than Daly and Bozo.

That makes Moses a champion selector.

We all tell JT what team to select, why can't Moses tell Daly? Lol

Love the Irony!

Have to agree with Masterton though. If they always wanted to stay why ask for extensions on the option and wait till the last minute?

More like attention seeking.
He'd be better off improving his own game before telling anyone else what they should do

It is going to be a long 12 months living there contract negations. There is going to be quotes and media fluff bits for months. Hopefully if and when they sign for 2018 and beyond it will be for at leat three years so we have some peace and quite for a couple of years.

I get a horrible feeling that they will up and leave at the end of next year but who knows

With Tedesco off contract, these 2 should be on the back burner imo, particularly Brooks. The club needs to invest everything they have imo into retaining him, then worry about the halves.

"We were always going to stay…" (after all our options were exhausted.)

Absolutely. Tedesco is the single most important signing at the moment.

The bottom line is I doubt Teddy will sign with us without knowing what a couple of his mates will be doing. Teddy will get mega bucks where ever he goes so he will want to be playing in a competitive team and a happy environment. The key to all our signings along with the obvious, money is who will be coaching us come 2018 or before. Although I wonder if we go on a winning streak will Taylor become popular with the kids club

Winning solves everything….look at the Sharks..

FOX just reporting Keary is going to the roosters, unconfirmed, but if true they won't want Moses.

Pascoe has confirmed the club is continuing negotiations to sign Brooks and Moses long term.

I hope it's already a done deal because after Keary's game tonight you wouldn;t touch him with a barge pole.

Why would the Chooks want him they already have Pearce, Hastings and Connor Watson. But I hope they get him because he is hopeless!!!

He's not hopeless, but he is pretty hot and cold.

i think he has potential to be an alright first grader, but would be an odd home at the chooks…

someone more like the knights could take a stab at him for the right price though

After Nov 1 most of the current NRL halves will be up for contract negotiations for the 2018 season - and with the increase in the salary cap the offers going around to retain and or attract them will ensure some large increases in their value
If fans think some are overpriced now, may have to adjust that way of thinking

Not so sure. Increased competition (with a large supply of halves) should result in lower prices. Moses and brooks wouldn't have us over a barrel, we could look at plenty of other options on the market.

The salary cap will inflate everyone, but should all be relative.
