Not sure if this has been mentioned (the threads are long in the off season) but surely Brooks and Moses want to play together? If so, which clubs are in the position to pick up both? Let alone teddy

How do we know that that is a major consideration?
They may prefer to, but in the end , their manager would be trying to get the best deal for both of them. And if that's at two clubs, then that's probably what they'll probably go for.
They both Would be a lot better if they were both at a different club with a good experienced halves partner beside them.
Which is what should happen with Rookie halves anyway.

Why do you question this post, yet agree whole heartedly with the post above it when both are as speculative as each other? It couldn't have anything to do with your agenda could it, surely not?

Simple, I just pointed out that nowhere have I seen anything that stated that they would only play together, and as far as the players themselves are concerned it may be an advantage to them to be in different clubs with an experienced partner.
Nothing inconsistent there, I've said the same thing since got dropped in prematurely to first grade .

And secondly , what I said was true. The only way that they'll be in big demand IS if they have a really season next year, otherwise , if they don't improve we will be stuck with them getting big money. For little return.
Not sure what you don't understand in that.
Maybe you are looking for agendas under the bed, it was purely a comment,
I can't make it any simpler

Whilst I have great respect for Benny Elias as a Balmain legend, he really needs to stop making comments about the club that simply feed and encourage the present torrent of anti-Wests Tigers media from the likes of the Telegraph.

Doesn't this show that our admin is still pathetic, the CEO should never of signed off on this. Why would you give an employee all the power and still expect them to tow the line. They should have been signed to a 200k contract for 3 yrs with a 100k incentive for making the finals. I personally would not care if we breached the salary cap and lost all our points as long as we start winning. Keeping te Marie Martin might have put the wind up these guys too but the club is doing everything for these 2 overpriced under achieving reserve graders. We never should have got rid of Austin.

"Admin is still pathetic".

Wow. The only one who is pathetic is you. You would rather us be fined and lose points by breaking the salary cap? That will do me.

I am guessing you are a "millennial"? Instant gratification is your go. Put your mind into gear
before running off at the mouth.

You are a champion mate, an absolute champion. Your the only person that's allowed to say anything I'm sorry I wrote anything. People like you are the reason that forums go to pieces it would be easy to ignore something you don't agree on but no you have to attack anyone that doesn't share your mental thoughts. What a winner, next time you get the feeling of posting negative things about people try putting your bottom lip over your head and try to swallow more people will appreciate your input.

So, your opinion is that we breach the salary cap, cop a huge fine, lose some of the players we purchased by cheating, lose points the following year, plus all points won in the current year.

I will leave it to other followers to form an opinion on your view.

I know mine.

For the younger 'stars in the making' it will be as much about the past as the future.

Their whole playing career, they've been winners and they've been talked up.

Now they're stuck in the post-nuclear fallout that is the West Tigers 2015/2016, with little signs of success on the horizon, and suddenly the prospect all their dreams have vapourised, simply as a result of the choice of club they've made.

Any allegiances to the club will disappear with that. Full stop. This is their careers. Who could blame them.

Success breeds success. Sheens brought success. Potter brought the success of Dally Ms and started to make progress as a coach. But where is there experience with success now? Taylor's only ever been average at anything he's done. And the CEO etc are all cast offs.

So now these kids are the only ones who know success. Of course they'll call the shots. There's any number of clubs who'd take these guys without hesitation on big money.

And so the hyenas descend on the club's carcass.

All parties need to be locked away together until ALL issues are resolved well before Xmas or next year's done for and the young fellas are gone.

Well said "guyofthetiger" :righton:
These young guys and any of the team members for that matter want success in what they do, they want to win, and so do we "fans" want them to win games, so if we can start off the season well and finish the year somewhere near the top 8- winning more games than we lose, hopefully the young blokes will not entertain the idea of leaving, because it's true, they are the future for our club 😛ray:

Bottom line for these two 2016 has to be a major break out year for them both …the money they are supposed to be on is ridiculous at this stage of there careers , I get the impression that the club has gone a tad hard money wise for what has been shown so far.
These 2 certainly show promise but IMO a very very long way of the make for the money expected ..this will be the make or break season for one if not both ,as the pressure is not on the club but the two individuals to perform for the pay check they want ,hopefully they both are working on there tackling technique as 6ooK is a lot to pay for a couple of speed humps!

It was Phil Gould who expressed his frustration that our young halves were not able to play their natural games during a Ch9 broadcast. Why does the club subject the best of our fine young talent to this "coaching"?

No he didn't. He said, "I hope these young fellas don't have the football coached out of them." I think the end of last year showed they were getting a fair rein after being stifled early.

And what do you think he meant?

Gould raised a good point. On the flip side Taylor appeared to learn from his mistakes with regards to his game tactics.

Lets see how it goes next year. Taylor needs to come up with better game plans. Our young halves need to perform better.

Most young players pretty much stick to team structure when they are first graded. Even more so if their halves partner is just a baby also. I've seen Gould limit plenty of young players when they start. A good coach knows when to give them some leeway.

Taylor took too long, no doubt. That NQ game was diabolical. But if you think they weren't able to play their "natural game" later in the year, I think you're a bad judge of football.

That's what I hope also. I don't think it was Gould's comments, as the Taylorball continued for a while after that. If I had to guess, I'd say the Cowboys game was an eye-opener when we couldn't score against that rabble.
